Oh and I agree with plugger66 ... no overt bias against St Kilda.

But I don't share his approach that "if he is innocent, the Tribunal will clear him. If he is found guilty, he must have done it".

You gotta be more questioning than that plugger mate.

Bakers charge is a joke I agree there is no video evidence. The AFL cannot based their charge on what a Fremantle Officisal said. They should charge Baker if there was an UNBIAS person who witnessed the incident. But your club will fight the charge. All witnesses are biased. The tribunal has to cal...

They don't put their name forward independently to the tribunal - they are a witness for Fremantle, so Fremantle calls them. I don't know at what stage parties have to notify the tribunal as to the names of witnesses, but I'd suggest that if the tribunal has been given a name, it is not in public do...

What is Bakes alleged to have done? If the Freo Official claims he saw Bakes strike/punch Farmer then the charge would be 'striking' and not 'rough conduct'. So what is alleged? PRECISELY Mr Magic! I'd say he saw exactly the same thing as M Voss: Baker and Farmer running towards a contest - then lo...

Baker-Farmer precedent: Camporeale-Holland

I hope this is the case, but if you can be found guilty of attempting to strike you can be found guilty of have someone run up you ar$e Yes, but attempting to strike is an offence as set out in Law 19.3.3(i) of the Laws of Australian Football. Rough conduct is also an offence, as set out in Law 19....

Exactly what could Baker be cited with?

As far as I know there's nothing in the laws of the game that makes it an offence to be cannoned into by someone else.

First of all, I'm not your "mate". First of all, I was being sarcastic. Secondly, its not my problem if you don't understand a simple (albiet, rather poor taste) play on words, regardless of something as trivial as spelling. Oh I understood it. I was just pointing out that in pointing out...

Yeah it does come back to the dollar. The love of the dollar also drives the somewhat hypocritical approach of condemning rough play or reportable offences, yet allowing broadcasters to repeat footage of it ad infinitum. Outlawing rough play / fights = a more family-friendly image = product viabilit...
