Just watched the replay. Saw him say f**k twice. Should have been a free kick and a 50m penalty against him.

There's no way Thomas who is flat footed is going to reach Armo who is running in and can afford to move away from Thomas anyway to kick on his preferred left foot. Check out the second replay, it gives you a better perspective.

Armo slowed down and took his eyes off the ball to look across at the umpire when he heard the whistle, otherwise he would've run into an open goal.

Re: Patrick Smith's view on the umpiring

We didn't lose the game because of the obrien free , we lost it cos as usual the same players made the same poor skill errors when under pressure ! however in regard to milne taking his eye off the ball . Any player who doesn't take their eye off the ball when running with the flight of it is reckl...

Wet Toast may only win one more so if we win the remaining we will finish above them, (and I imagine Freo will take Bummers spot)

If Watter's doesn't equal Lyon's first year record then we are all stuffed.

We need a draw asap.

I thought we finally got the team balance right. Looked a lot more sure of ourselves in defence.

Re: VFL Rd 14 - sandringham vs Port -TV- Scores and More

Ledger's disposal today isn't upto AFL standard
Winmar OK, but no second efforts, goes to ground too often
Ferguson looks the goods
Shenton runs around like a headless chook (sorry if I offend)
Dunnel good mark for his size

Re: How much you can change in 1 year

I thin we will havea better second half, than first half (touch wood on injuries) as I now believe that the players now how to deliver the Watters Gameplan + we will have more good players to chose from. Schneider is a very smart attacking player....Fish back into our backline.....and Ben/Stanley b...

Re: Crucial umpiring call against us

In the first quarter on our half foward flank Milne clearly gets tripped - no free, Richmond run the ball down and score a goal. By the way does retarted mean you've been give additional tarts??

Re: depth

What will be interesting is if all those senior guys come back in then we are essentially the same team as last year minus a crap full back and an injured ruckman. You can't have it both ways, ie cry out for youth and want the senior players back in the side. Hopefully the tough decisions are made c...

Montagna as another small backpocket/half back stopper, given more licence to set up play from defence (ie Shaw from the FILTH/Swanettes) Ledger into the guts.

Cool brother. If people think he was great then fair enough. I was watching the Zebs game late at night and maybe I drifted off a bit after that 3rd quarter  As far as the first half goes it was Siposs, Dunnell and Freguson who really caught my eye. Agree 100% with those 3 Doc. Really impress...

Re: Changes for Hawks game

Wilkes doesn't deserve to be dropped, he did everything that was asked of him last night as well as the previous weeks for Sandy. Kosi needs to come in, he was the most dangerous forward against Freo and has been playing well. How's Roo's knee????? Is it time to push him on to the wing a la Matthew ...
