Re: Lenny Hayes!

Lenny Hayes, may not have got many possessions but his tackling and harassing scored us 2 or 3 goals by its self...... This guy's work ethic is second to none. Anyone agree sure do, by the way, how's Jarryn Geary? Haven't heard much about your relationship with him following that conversation you ha...

definetly been an emphasis placed on tackling over the summer... noticed players are more aware of the notion of tackling an opposition player around the arms rather than the waist hence making it difficult for them to get rid of the ball. players also appeared to be more aware of where each was (in...

our expectation of him is that he's a KPP (as a defender) who's expected to have the silky skills and run of a midfielder... thats a tough role. he's excellent in the air, and is one of the few players in this team that does the "do what it takes no matter the cost" things e.g. make that l...

beats me how ne1 can think he's in our best 22. Way way too inconsistent. His absolute best is pretty good but he doesn't perform at that level any where near often enough and his worst is not him simply being ineffective, he's a liability. Its very sad that JB says that year was his best ever... a ...

I guess we will be better off next year, but not happy losing money because of the incompetant and short sighted Kingston Council and to pay off ParasiTomas and Mr 2 Weeks. But the bright side is, we are good enough now without those downsides that if we win, we will be back in the black again. Jus...

Conspiracy Theory

Been a while since we've heard one and I've got a gem. I believe that the current CEO of the AFL will do whatever it takes to increase the profile of the game and we all know that the key to success in untapped markets is success and promotion. They stuffed it up with Freo as they didn't have a grea...

Prolong the G-Train?

Just an off season idea How about we rest the G-Train from all interstate games this season? Consider: * He generally performs poorly in interstate games (we'd get an extra man bascially) * His body would get extra time to rest. This is significant because even though he runs out a lot of games, he'...

All you can really judge RL on atm is based on what he has been able to control. In his first season he couldn't have much influence on the type of player he wanted at the club... he had what he was given. He should be judged on how he's altered the list since and IMO his list management has been su...

I think the point that Barks is making is that your response to Ricc is actually a direct attack on Ricc, rather than a genuine contribution to the debate. The last line is certainly an attack on Ric but I do believe his POV is biased cos his club is not involved... the AFL is now trying to run the...
