You missed the clanger of all clangers...Bakes gets two weeks for an attempted strike on Greg Stafford. Yes, that two weeks for the smallest bloke on the ground not hitting the biggest. What a complete disgrace.

Sorry to say this, but how is Dal in the squad? His form this season so far has been pretty average. Because he's a star that's played two average games, one of which was against the best tagger in the comp. He could easily earn 450-500k at another club and is recognised as a serious talent. It's a...

His in and under work is first class. Clearance work is excellent. Areobic tank good Speed average. Disposal by hand is OK. Disposal by foot is terrible. Overall he is a B+ footballer at his best. He was quicker than Judd at the draft camp if that's evidence of just how bad his op was/is. It's a pi...

It's a long, long way back from such a debilitating injury. I'm sure his kicking will improve and he'll get back to his very best. I'm just glad to have him on the paddcok and contributing to the game.

Tactically obsessed and way too soft. Why are we allowing our guys to get knocked out unchecked? Can someone explain how and why we are dropping off the radar and the Doggies and Geelong are moving ahead in leaps and bounds. We are simply stagnating. Didnt we put heaps of dosh up to get the best co...

The rule is now correct as the true value of the player will be paid.
No it won't. If Tom Hawkins was born one year later Geelong would've picked him up with their first round pick at #16 after having just won a flag. Arguably he was a #1-3 pick.

Father/Son Rule

I remember a few years back after a game in which we soundly beat Geelong Bomber Thompson bleating on about how our early draft picks cost him the game and yet now with a team made of Father/Son superstars he seems rather quiet on the subject. What a complete farce. They have drafted Blake, Scarlett...

I'm slightly perplexed...can anyone tell me exactly when it was that NDS declared to the world he was as good as Ian Stewart? He ranked, what was it, third in the Brownlow last year you people have the audicity to call him 'soft' and use terms like 'zero heart'. It's a crock. He's a super pla...

Fatrick knows as much about football as I do about macrame. Apparently 19 goals isn't much a return for effort. Yeah, I'd be devasted if we only kicked 19 goals each week. Putting Roo at CHB would waste of his talents. Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought that was the first game with all three in the sa...

If Matthew Head is the skinny balding bloke then he's the worst in the league. He made some shockers last night including the Blake tackle and the frees against Maxi. I actually thought the shorter bloke with black hair was really good. Can anybody answer this question: do the umpires switch ends at...

I don't read/post on that site at all these days. It's full of spineless morons taking pot shots elite athletes from behind their keyboards. Yet how many people think Glenn Archer was a saintly little boy who played fair yet tough. The man himself said he used this tactic on many an occasion. If we take away all interference with the leading forward we may as well play with no defenders. I know it can be dangerous, but so is leaping int...

Agreed. He's doesn't play body on body well enough to play back pocket and was found out several times last season. I think he's best on the half back line where he's not as exposed however he needs to toughen up this year and improve the defensive part of his game.

I don't know all the facts but they showed the footage on 9 news earlier and based on that alone I think he can consider himself extremely fortunate to escape a conviction. Get it done Davo!! He's far better than the other options (Blake, King, Wood) that are being bandied about.

On Steven King: "If someone mentions his name and talks to us about him, we'll take it on board and go back and have a talk about it. [We're not worried about King's age as] we took Matthew Clarke last year at 34 years old." It's fair enough if you give up sod all to get him. I don't mind...
