Yeah I live in Cairns, (North Queensland) We've got a saints supporters group up here. I'm the president, the secretary, the CEO, the fundraiser, the Bar staffer, the bar fly. We are always looking for new members. We meet in front of my TV everytime the saints are on. You can find it in my lounge r...

Re: Don't get sucked in by old Mike Sheahan
Kosi please don't get sucked in by it. There are 22 players that need to step up. that is true, but not all of them have kosi's abilities as a potential match-winner. we need something extra special from him over the next month with riewoldt out and fraser really struggling. good article by mike an...

Don't get sucked in by old Mike Sheahan
We all know that it is Mike's job to write pieces that sell news papers but surely our supporters and especially the club are not going to get sucked into his romantic formula writing that one player will be the messiah to deliver all. This is just plain crap. Michael Voss's articale a few weeks ago...

WE've had the most talented list in the universe for the last 4 years. Cough bulls***. Losing Riewoldt means...not much i guess. As a team we've been playing like anus and if we have to rely on a star like the volt it's not a good sign. So what's my point? Who cares? you ever stood on a corner and ...

Is ther any point in being better than everyone else at Rd8? What we've shown, is that our best footy matches the teams leading the way. Come September, we need to have won enough games (doesn't matter how or who) to be i nthe 8. Once in the 8 in September, then you need to be better than the rest....

Roo is a big loss, but Maguire and Bakes less so. Goose wasn't contributing, and Baker isn't top 15 on pour list IMO. Unless we need a strong tag in the backline, we can live without him. I think that the argument regarding Maguire is flawed. Just because Maguire wasn't 'contributing' in accordance...

Some might agree that the game might have past Baker. It was popular belief that when he received his 7 week su...

Re: Ok what are the positives.
1. we are playing crappy football and still 4:3 2. we have shown we are capable of HIGHLY disciplined football and winning (sydney) 3. we have shown we have sufficient talent to bludgeon teams down on raw native and somewhat selfish ability (v carlton) 4. we have shown champaign football that perha...

Cairnsman, We won last night and I feel good. I've looked at teh ladder and I don't see an asterisk next to our '16 points' signifying that they are discounted because some fans didn't enjoy the way we won. I haven't had a look over at 'Talking Rabble' or whatever they call themselves at the Richmo...

Mate - it is only some sad sacks on here. Everyone I was with last night were very excited with the win. They did exactly what Michael Voss wrote about the other week - they played for each other. It is sometimes not the way you win, it is how. Last night we were probably out played by richmond, bu...

Isn't a win supposed to feel good?
I reckon if most of the supporters feel like they lost then how do you reckon the players feel this morning. The mind is an incredible thing. I would say the club is currently in need of a very good head shrink at the moment for some serious councelling. It looks like we are going to lose Roo for th...
