Unfortunately I didn't get to watch the game but from all accounts it sounds like G-Train had another bad game.
I hate to say but I think we are going to hear that the big fella has decided to retire sooner than later.

The team is definetly looking good on paper. Has for most of the year. On paper being the operative word. I can't help thinking that the one thing we need is just a little bit more times for the team to get settled, get some confidence and the rest will come. Synergy I think they call it. I think th...

The Positives
No injuries (that I have heard) If we all consider that injuries at about this time of the season for the past couple of years has started to escalated. Amongst many things, good teams, premiership teams, are generally teams that have a good run with injuries and are able to keep a nucleaus of playe...

No the scarf helicopter probably would get complaints. The thing about that is that it is only when the bombers play the Eagles. I'm thinking about this 'unique support culture' idea that is common throughout all the entirety of saints games. I saw Joffa from Collingwood today put on that famous gol...

on this I would love to see us make a big call out for people to wear lots of red against the pies, that would be very very exciting. Imagine the whole stadium full of RED white and black..... I like the scarf idea but always worried most would just complaign like the banners and signs Solar do you...

'd deadset love if our club's fans could create a unique supporting culture with something like this. Yes and Yes! that is exactly the thing I was thinking Everton but just couldn't articulate it. 'unique supporting culture' The scarfs things is a beauty. That with some sought of chant or combinati...

great initiative AOK. We could really lead melbourne clubs here and get back some home ground advantage like the old suburban grounds used to provide home teams and also the home ground advantage the interstate teams have developed and enjoy. I also reckon that singing songs similar to the poms at t...

yup...it was fun sitting in the pouring rain get soaked to the skin and being freezing cold watching us get belted. Welcome to the life of a Saints fan in the 80's...cept we stood most weeks :-) Ahhh! yes they were the days. Long before you had nice seats with TVs, and concrete beneath your feet an...

Sorry didn't read EVERY post in detail. Though you won't be able to place the bet you described in one multi bet. It's called co-dependancy or some crap like that. Pretty much you can't have 2 bets that relate or depend on one another directly on match day. Hypothetically. You can't have the saints...

Port beat us by about 10 goals over there in the wet last year didn't they? I have been trying to repress the memory for 12 months now. Yeah they made us look weak that night. In actual fact the Michael Voss observation made last week was so true that night. I distinctly remember the Port players g...

hey myself and a mate are coming down for the game. I am an interstate member that hasn't renewed yet but intended to before the game. I'm meeting with at least two other mates from Melbourne. And really because I only get down for a couple of games a year I'm looking for the best experience I can g...

It should be very encouraging to Saints people that Milne appears to be working very hard on improving himself and subsequently his worth to the St Kilda cause. It is a very strong attribute of ones character to be able to receive as much critiquing as Milne does and actually accept 'it' and then wo...

I just watched the Lions v Hawks and it was great to watch a shoot out between Buddy and Bradshaw but if I had to pick one of these players to play in the Saints it would have to be Bradshaw because of the same reasons you single out Hayes and Dempster. I think the flamboyant type can be a liability...

brett voss was always about the team and loyalty. Absolutely courageous, how many times did we see B. Voss back into a pack. Never flinched. Always went in hard for the ball and you know what when, him, Brent Guerra, and Black were playing for the Saints we were a team that played hard and played f...
