Whilst I'm gutted ............... before anyone bags any of our players, consider if you were in their position, could you have done better? I doubt it! But I also suspect and think our players know they can do better ............. I've waited since '66 so one more year won't matter that much .........

I agee with Milan Faletic ~ Kosi has it within his ability to be the deciding influence in the game. If he fires and kicks goals the pressure is lessened on Roo and our other small brigade.

All I can say is: GO KOSI!

I've waited too long to see another premiership and I want the best possible chance. Sorry to upset team harmony but unfortunately Eddy was not up to it. Four handballs, one free against and one clanger is not a good enough contribution to team synergy. Both Dempster and Gwilt could provide us with ...

Nigel Murch was a very good fast bowler for St. Kilda in district cricket, with a long career. I am pretty sure he played for Victoria and obviously Warney was a former St. Kilda cricketer.

However, I am sure that the next game he plays will be better - and that will do me!

You're joking - did I watch a different game.

I'm prepared to get howled down but I would think Max H and Jarryn G would be good replacements for Raph C and R Eddy - I'm only offering what I believe can better a chance at glory!

Bloody hell! The guy got dropped - heaps of players from heaps of clubs get dropped. This does not mean they all sulk, want to get traded or no longer have the passion for their club. What it does mean is that they have to improve some aspects of their performance to match the expectations of their ...

I am fairly confident that 1/4 something - would tip Fine Cotton to win against the Saints - but he's not the only one - I would really like to see a tally of how the "experts" have picked for or against the Saints this year. A few glaring "love -hate" relationships would emerge....

He's not the only lazy journalist! Mike Sheahan in today's Herald Sun: "St Kilda and Geelong are entrenched at the head of the table, the Saints a win and a hefty percentage margin in front." I thought 15 wins (60 points) to 13 wins (52 points) would make that: "the Saints TWO wins an...

After getting down to Melbourne and watching Sandy two weeks ago and following up with another significant display last week by Goose - I think the first unforced change we may see will be Goose for Gwilt - now it appears both can play back and forward. Goose certainly appears fit and ready to me.

Back line kudos

Our percentage of 200 is tribute to a great team effort but kudos must also go to our backline and those getting back into it, for our points against total of 226 - this is a mammoth 45% less than any other side to date!

Luke Ball has the potential (injury free) to be consistently a very, very good midfielder. Lenny Hayes is consistently a very, very good midfielder. Ben Cousins at this best was consistently a very, very good midfielder who had the added arsenal of being very, very damaging with his use of the ball ...

Ah the memories. I was 12 at the time and my mother took me to the MCG about 6:00 pm to line up for tickets. The next morning the tickets went on sale and by the time I got to the ticket box it was standing room only. Fortunately during the week my uncle managed to scrounge me a seat on the wing and...

Magpie Glory in moment of Defeat!

I seen the Pies line up after the game and thought why? I had a suscpision but wasn't sure.

It was a great effort by the Pies to line up after a loss to honour an opposition player - very well done indeed.

It's now official!

I hate Geelong more than any other side in the league!

At the risk of sounding uninteresting I would think that the team that played Geelong were not able to ignite a spark (under finals pressure) to get them going and were snuffed out. I'm also not sure going in with the same side and hoping that will change is the best philosophy either? My thoughts a...

Also the Mitcham analogy would best be left for Mathew Lloyd - the greatest AFL diver of all time!

Greg Burns was a delight to watch - a great midfielder and a bit like Clint Eastwood's toilet paper. I think most would agree that our team is not travelling well and most would agree that an injection of the right type of player (inside/out player and key back) are needed. They don't come waltzing in your door for nothing, hard decisions are necessary - some players are going to have to go to get ...
