I really have problems holding in the frustration at these "supporters". Lucky I had my better half to keep me quiet on Saturday. We all decided to go for the level 3 reserved seats this year, and just my luck we're stuck in front of a pack of St Wingers! I'm not sure I can take it for a w...

Pretty sure it was Chris Scott who bumped Nick's broken shoulder.

Brad was the good one. Chris was a thug.

I need to see more of Armitage - he doesn't get enough of the ball.

Interesting that Ross said we played a different/second style this week compared to last week. "Last week was a different sort of a game and we constructed a different game on purpose and tonight we came to pay our traditional game, so we've got a couple of styles that we can go to we think and...

Gardiner is definitely our #1 if we can keep him fit. But King had a lot more hitouts than McEvoy last week (17 to 7).

I still wonder if we might be better with King come finals time.

Mini is only 23 and had a fantastic and consistent year last year. I have no doubt he will back it up.

Bakes is a B&F winner.

Bit harsh on these two?

>04 - #17. McQualter....also seems to have made it

I would have thought he was definitely in our best 22.

>05 - #33. Gilbert......has definitely made it

Star!

What about tackling?

On a few occasions I wondered why our guys weren't tackling the player with the ball.

When we looked our best, we had multiple players going in to tackle hard, one after the other.

Is this a conscious decision?

He was number 1 for tackes and 2nd for disposals.

I definitely think he's an in.

I noticed him running to space more than usual and our win was built on tackling.

Needs to work on his disposal but so do a few of the guys.

I would be interested to see the tackle counts for the Saints v Cats game this year.

That would have to be the highest pressure game the Saints have had to play this year?

It can't be too far off Subiaco's dimensions. Which begs the question, were the Saints flat after a blockbuster game, or did they struggle a bit on the larger ground against West Coast?
I'm not sure how the dimensions can account for all those errors.

It was interesting when he was saying that some players can't take in all the information from the coaches and the coaches have to simplify it for them.

Francis said "They're called defenders"..

And Joey said "And a couple of taggers and a ruckman". :)

if he is iinjured why is he playing?

what happens if he gets more injured during the finals?
My understanding is that it's a chronic condition that doesn't go away and must be constantly managed by reducing the workload when it gets bad.

It seems to be affecting him more and more.

I saw him a few times just jogging after an opponent.. it must be painful.

His tackles are still excellent though.

Craig's eyes on Saints

Adelaide 130 def Fremantle 13

That looks like one of our scores earlier this year.

I hope we don't have a repeat of 1997 in the finals. :(

So what's the story with Milney's knee?

I remember seeing him on the ground last week and was very worried, but he came back on a kicked a bunch of goals.

Surely can't be too serious? Although I remember Lenny playing out a game with a busted knee.

if we need to get 30,000 to make money then we can thank the 800 lions supporters for getting us over the line

NOISE was good though..
I thought the crowd was really quiet for a large part of the game. I could actually here the players and umpires.
