Hitler's comments on St Kilda's defeat in the 2010 GF

If you can cope yet with accepting that we lost the GF replay, this is hilarious:

Evidently all 12,000 tickets were taken in about 20 minutes. Though some sales were completed after that time. When they sell like this standing in a queue unless you are at the front is pretty much a waste of time. I’m on holidays on the Sunshine Coast. Thought I’d go to Maroochydore Ticketek ...

Another Omen - 1965 and 2011

Saints moved to Linton Street in 1965 and won the Premiership in 1966. Saints to move out of Linton Street in 2011, and win the Premiership in 2010. The bookends of our Linton Street base - premierships in the year after we arrived and in the year before we leave. A symmetry that cannot be denied by...

I've got my hands on a few general admission MCC passes & will be going in on Friday night & setting up camp (well a sleeping bag & a camp chair). What is an MCC general admission pass. Thought it was only full members (and holders of adult guest passes) who could get into the GF on swi...

If you are objective about that, it was the defining movement of the game. Without it, the game was the Saints'.

Quite observant there Shakes.

Indeed it's true.

Very close to the Sandy ground now, and slip over to watch the odd game or two.

I'd have waited 2 more weeks - let him get right as far as the medicos are concerned and then some more. I would have let this week pass without a flight to Qld and let next week pass without the pressure of a major match against Collingwood. In regards to Collingwood, if we don't play him and Colli...

I love hearing the sound of footy commentary on the radio.

I love hearing a match involving the Saints.

We win.

I wouldn't buy a UD truck because of them, but what's there not to like?

Any decision can only be made with the information you have at the time. If we held off until all the facts re pokies were available, several years down the track, the money for the facility would have been withdrawn by the Government and used elsewhere. That’s quite correct, but the reality (as ...

EGM auction-83 EGMs or less (Belevedere v Linton St)

St KFC has 83 gaming machines at Moorabbin. A few years ago Kingston City Council told St KFC that the number of gaming machines had to be reduced as part of the move to the South Road site for the establishment of a high profile new social club, and a new elite training and admin centre at Linton S...

And I should add....I was at the game.

It was just fantastic to come back from so far down in the last quarter.

We were 38 points down at 3 quarter time.

We were 48 points down at the 7 minute mark of the last quarter.

We won by a point.

Enjoy the replay.

Two reasons for once a week at Moorabbin:

1/ Locks in a presence (which is required to maintain leasehold rights)

2/ It's a concession to the players, so they don't have to go to Seaford every time.
