he doesnt have to play the whole game forward, maybe 5 min spells here and there i know hes a good defender, but we do need something up forward, no point saving goals if you cant kick them yourself We have 2 better forwards up there already and they cant get it. Why would a guy who has never playe...

Sam Fisher

Why not play him forward?

He can mark and can kick a set shot. A better set shot than Roo (from the few shots he's had at goal) and can kick 50metres. Can also cover some ground.

I mean sure he's a good defender, but we also need to kick some goals.

I just think its an idea to mix some things up.

it was mentioned in the paper a while ago, but i think the way to go is electronic tagging of the jumpers as used in sports events for timing a little tag is built into the jumper, weighs not even a kilo so weight isnt an issue. therell be something to read the tag or chip near the interchange area ...

When injury prone or long term injured players are (re)signed they often have a base contract + $x per game in VFL + $y per game in AFL. I think the point raised is if we should be looking performance based match payments. Give the players a kick up the arse. I originally had a second sentence on t...

dont get me wrong, i love st kilda like most people on here. but that doesn't mean we have to accept some of the crap that is dished up. pre-2003, i'd go to the footy and winning was a bonus, but now, with the talent we have, i go expecting nothing else than a win. but when the effort isn't there i ...

other teams, though, would have stepped up with those outs and made the most of their chances. we don't seize the opportunity when it comes. other teams kick 90% of their shots on goal. we don't we miss too many. how come our midfield can't kick goals? every other teams can. we have too many players...

Re: Good Luck Matty Carr !!

Former Saint Matthew Carr retired today. Yes, he played 24 games for the Saints before he got homesick and went home to Freo (can't remember who/what we got for him). All the best in retirement, Matty !! I think we got Heath Black. I'm not too sure. Wasn't a bad player, probably one of Freo's bette...

How is it legal to take food off you?

What do they do with the food then?

They've got no right to take your food. They might wear big red jackets but they aren't law enforcement.

Have a look at it, he left in 78 or whatever, and we won two games for the next decade.

Depends on your feet. Like what may be good for others mightnt be for you. I mean, one year i wore a pair of Nikes, and I wouldn't wear them again, they wrecked my feet around my toes and heel. I wore Puma's and they were much better until my feet outgrew them. I like asics, they seem to take a few ...
