Re: Jack Steven suspended for failing breath test
What the hell was he doing drinking during the season, let alone drinking enough to be over the limit the next morning?

Re: On another topic: Essendon's new away strip
Thought it worked quite well, the problem with TV is Sevens ridiculous far out shots. WTF is with them they are evither too close or to far out.
If Essendon players were having trouble it is a result of their players just not being used to playing in any other jumper ever.

Re: Train Alert 7 July
The Sandy trains last week didn't run through the loop - no explanation given It's the exact same reason the Pakenham/Cranbourne/Frankston trains didn't. Only last week they didn't mention the Frankston line in their announcements, you just had to know how they system is laid out to realise that it...

If we run out on saturday in white shorts that isn't an adequate clash kit.
Furthermore why the hell did we wear white shorts against Richmond and Hawthorn?

Not only were they sniping little s***s but they were benefiting from it with the umpires penalising our players instead of the instigators

Re: Be careful New Zealand
The only way Tasmain gets a team is if they acquire an AFL licence. As the AFL wont be releasing any new licences for a long time they'll have to acquire one of the existing licences. Of the existing 18 licences the following would not be available West Coast Eagles, Fremantle (owned by the WAFC); A...

Re: Metro Trains should rot in hell!
Usually I wouldn't believe a word they say but they were adamant that the train would be continuing on to Frankston. Well Ice Wolf all I can suggest is make the phone call or send a complaint via their website. http://www.metrotrains.com.au Or if you live along the Frankston line, a word to the loc...

I think he needs to pay attention more, a couple of times in the last few games he has cost us by not paying attention to what is going on.

Metro Trains should rot in hell!
I've had it up to the neck with the poor service after St Kilda home games. I've learnt not to expect much but last night they went too far by blatantly lying. They told everyone on Platform 13 that the Flinders Street train that was the 1st to enter the station (20 mins after the game mind you) wou...

Re: What's an acceptable loss against Carlton?
The only loss I would accept would be one that results in no injuries or reports to us, and minimal percentage damage (3-4 goals loss) and pyrrhic victory for Carlton.

Back to Back Interstate trips
We are the only vic side to have to play back-to-back interstate trips and we have to do it twice.
I'm not including Hawthorn as the only reason the have any is due to selling home games to Launceston. Every other vic side has a home game or a bye between trips.

Nice of the AFL to organise 2 back-to-back interstate trips for us this year, i felt that the 1 last year wasn't good enough. 6 interstate trips, well thats always going to happen when you sell some of your home games... wait we dont do that At least we got a couple of big drawing MCG home games... ...

Re: Imagine if the Super League war happened to the AFL.
Here’s a thought that would send shivers down the spine of any AFL supporter: imagine if the Super League war had occurred to the AFL in 1995. http://www.theroar.com.au/2011/09/21/imagine-the-super-league-war-happened-to-the-afl/ This is what the NRL went through. Thankfully (as much as we have l...

I know what you meant. I just don't see it that way. But, yes, Westaway may be looking to replace MN. Or, MN may want to go and do something else. More likely to be the latter than the former, I think, but that's just a guess. Though it still just looks like normal management of a business to me. S...

We are definitely not the only one. Carlton and Collingwood will lose players this year due to the salary cap. Geelong lost King due to salary cap. Ablett leaving definitely helped their situation. Also lost Mumford as couldn't match his salary ala Tommy Walsh. Unsure how Hawthorn have kept their s...

I know you're joking but it was just smart thinking the Frankston Freeway on a Sunday is a nightmare plus all the journalist would have been camping out at Etihad due to trade week anyway.joffaboy wrote:Noticed the presser was at Etihad not Seaford.
Obviously Watters hates Seaford.
