Re: Umpiring laughable

Now for the first 3 quarters we were an abomination, terrible, won't win again this year if we dish up more performances like that. Great that they had a dip in the last and stormed over them....would of been nice to get that sort of commitment for 4 quarters instead of the trash we got for the first...

i cant quite work out whether this 'ray broughton' is serious or not....surely no-one can be this wrong. do you even understand what sobraz is saying about goals being created for the crumbers through kosi's play. Or is this concept too difficult for someone of your exceptionally limited football k...

without doubt he is the second best big man (over 6'6") in the comp... Behind Cox, name me another.. mmmm Aaron Sandilands, David Hille, Jamie Charman and now you can add Drew Petrie (his one game on Friday night probably eclipses Kosi's contribution all year) without even thinking. you sight ...

Its interesting how people can discern so easily Rod Butters poor behaviour and lack of integrity all the while quickly overlooking the fact that any "hush money" deal was readily being accepted and entered into by Thomas....... Come on Teffers, you can hardly blame him - perhaps he did h...

Do you think the current Board were pretty keen to let this one go? Not put up a huge fight? Be done with it. Perhaps even agree with it? Perhaps GT didn't want to settle, so some details would come out in court? Has to be correct Dodge.... Why else would you compile a defence like that and GT knew...

[ 5. Why did the club pay Thomas' fine for abusing the umpiring fraternity, agree that GT should have it deducted from his salary but never actually get the money back from GT? In addition to this, why did the club not counterclaim - the judge suggest that this is a claim that would have had some m...

I am flabbergasted having read the ruling on the case. Why in God’s name would we argue there wasn’t an agreement in place? Seriously, Archie, Rod and the current admin should hang their heads in shame with the defence they mounted. Embarrassing. The current board couldn't defend the issue, as ...

Just read the transcript.... It seems the club just went belly up and didnt contest or try to contest much at all, maybe a case of take your money and go, please. Considering the curent board would be very keen to wash their hands of this mess and really if Thomas didnt breach the agreement in regar...

I cant really remember what he said at the time but surely the 100k was for him to not bag the club/players/sacking incident.. I'm unsure whether he kept his side of the bargain there, as I said my memory is sketchy and I might be mixing up things he said privately then reported publicly... But he d...

Go Roo

Was dominant tonight in tough game, shoved the yips away and was brilliant all over the ground............ Yes I hear you.. do it against a good side.... but really Freo aren't far off being a good side.... and Grover is a strong opponent whichever way you look at it........... Couldnt be happier wi...

Dodge you are far less intelligent than I gave you credit for.... infact... you're a flog! We won, Riewoldt was dominant, Ball was sensational and Lenny was brilliant albeit for a quarter, but what a quarter.... The kids and debutantes were serviceable, nothing but a positive IMO. I'm not wearing ro...

Maybe they went to great lengths to show that "This Time" the coach selection process was above board and not the exercise in Bulldust it was for the previous coach ,hence, the use of an outsider on the selection panel. Walls has been a consultant on other coach selection panels,it's just...

In terms of my analogies, obviously you disagree, however I don't believe the car or the horse is flawed as such. I believe our list is very good and at a stage where it should be peaking almost. If not peaking, only 1 trade week away from being ideal. It's the fact that we're not being coached wel...
