Re: paddy to play tonight

Confirmed on SEN.

Well it will throw Paddy in the deep end, but he's going to have to get used to it.

Re: Josh Bruce has gone mad.

I almost couldn't believe this was the same bloke as last year. How different does it make our team look when the opposition need to concern themselves with more than just one key fwd. And how much better does he look since he cut that stupid beard off? But if he wants to keep his Shintaro hairdo l...

Re: Flog Maher bags "only 9,800 members" in attendance

Haven't we missed the point in Maher's taunting of "only 9, 800 members"or closer the estimate of 19800 crowd attendance? Out of the 18 000 or what ever crowd that attended I'm guessing around 99.99% of the crowd were barracking for the Saints. The GWS Supporters were minuscule in number a...

Re: Thugg Bugg cleared

There was one beauty that Joey got in about 80m behind the play on the outer wing that nobody spotted, among others. yeah I noticed that. Well done. Regardless of the outcome Bugg needs to be reminded that he is a sniper from now on - even if it is not true, perception is reality, us against them e...

I'm even more glad that Josh Bruce and I think Joey squared up on him.

Re: Flog Maher bags "only 9,800 members" in attendance

I heard the comments. It followed a call to SEn from a young woman who has barracked for Sants all of her life and was virtually pleading for Saints supporters to go to the games and basically "keep the faith" What annoyed the hell out of me was his comments somewhat patronising tone about...

Re: Saints v GWS Game Thread (live scores)

Any word on Nick following him getting injured. It looked scared as I didn't think he could move for a moment. Who ever number 14 is for the, not only did Bruce fix him up, so did Joey a few minutes later. Number 14 was in hands and knees as Joey walked off. Start sending the hat around to help pay ...

Re: Get rid of the Brisbane v Collngwood game

Where we used to have one screen overhead where we sit in our aisle, there are now three. The left and the right screens show our game but the one in the middle us showng a full repeat of last night's Bris v Collingwood game and it is driving us juts as its distracting, As if any Collingwood support...

Get rid of the Brisbane v Collngwood game

On the screens located in the aisles

It's a blood distraction and we don't care about last nights game especially if it's Collingwood.

Final reminder. From what I've wirked out, everyone gets out at Darling station and are being bussed to Cauflield. Might be quicker just to drive to Caulfield.

Metro Train services on Sunday

www.metrotrains.com.au Alamein, Belgrave, Lilydale and Glen Waverley lines. Major works on each line and the word bus pops up a lot. Go to website for each line, but be warned it isn't going to be easy trying to get into Etihad Stadium on Sunday, plus it won't help our crowd numbers. Mods-can we le...

Apparently, I believe it was one of Ross Lyon's great theories-you don't mind the man, you mind the space.

Can't say I subscribe to this theory in modern football, in fact it's rubbish.

For god's sake, just man up, and tackle blah blah blah.

Re: Goddard move- article

In his last season with us, I thought he played a very selfish brand of footy, clearly in self-preservation mode knowing the money was in the bag. Probably fits the selfish egotistical Essendon culture better- I guess he can count his money while he watches us move back up the ladder. Totally agree...

CJ may get his 150th game.. and fair bet BJ's influence in going for him But still don;t like it Isn't it just for the nab cup? Different rules for the real season when the druggies are serving in season suspensions. Call me cynical but this is a set up. Imagine this all falls into place for the NA...

Board member going going gone

According to The Age, Ian McLeod is leaving Coles to join a giant US conglomerate so I'd don't imagine he'll be flying in for games if board meetings.

Anyone want to stand for the board?

Where's Barks4eva?

He always banged on about going to Elsternwick Park and it turns out he may have been right.

But I'm not interested in our club getting into a bunfight with the Melbourne FC.

It's all or nothing.
