Firstly, I didn't criticise Lyon for recycling players. I've been consistent in stating there is no more subjective term in footy that "recycled player". Secondly, I would certainly play Rhys Stanley ahead of O'Hailpin. I know a lot of him think the "love" for him is only due to ...

According to some supporters, the previous regime was a disaster. We didn't win a premiership, and didn't develop any youngsters.

According to these same people, the changing of this regime is now a disaster.

He would be better than Fev because he can play in the ruck, and another position, and these guys are very important now.

I'm not saying use our first pick on him, I'm saying give him some consideration.

Considering our lack of KPP and ruck prospects, he surely must be given some consideration.

Just kicked four goals in a final, FFS.

Not much chance. We have more picks than anyone than GWS. Will use first six, meaning at least five more players to be delisted.

The nervous nellies should be Heyne, Cahill, Johnson, Smith, Clarke, Gamble & Polo.

They've drafted really well, and coached 'em up as well.

Plenty more than F/S at work.

Repeat after me: No one will trade for Fevola. The only way he'll be on an AFL list next year is if he is put on the "permission to vie for a rookie spot" lists that the clubs can now create (Richmond and Hawthorn did it last year), and he wins the final rookie spot in February 2012. There...

I think Raph can be relied upon to keep running when others stop (see 2009 Prelim v WB), but has also been given many chances.

It's a really tough one, but I would, at the very least, be making sure Dempster and Dawson were signed before Clarke. And probably Ray.

The problem with Raph this year was it was a "make or break" year, but he did just well enough (Rounds 17 & 24 are good examples) to make you think twice about it. Personally, I think he's probably pretty low on the list of players to be re-signed. Dempster, Dawson, Ray & Peake wil...

Or Gram and pick 25 for pick 22 and pick 44?

GWS have moved pick 20 on to Freo for the Palmer compensation pick.

Freo now have picks 16 & 20, which could be used for Mitch Clark.

These guys were probably always on the radar so we won't "suddenly" have to delist more blokes.

We'll just get them this way rather than through the draft.

Trading Lynch may get us back up to pick 21.

BTW, GWS currently own 11 of the first 20 picks.

I think you all need to keep in mind that Adelaide have enquired about him, which means we won't be giving him away for nothing. Having said that, he is on his 2nd contract so won't be on a tiny wage. Replacing him with a draftee would save money, but not as much as some of the other players who hav...

Why would you trade for Fevola when if you did, he'd have to be on your senior list, but if you wait for Brisbane to delist him, you can put him on your "permission to trade to become a rookie" list and not make a decision on him until February? Sometimes you have to listen to (or think ab...

I'd like to see us play 11 home games at Etihad so I can sit in the same seats I've been sitting in for 11 years, behind the same people I've been sitting behind for 11 years, and for us not to play away games against teams like Carlton and Richmond at Etihad, but the MCG. I'd also like us to make m...

You don't have to wear a clash when you're home jumper doesn't clash, and as long as Geelong wears white shorts and Collingwood wears black shorts, there is no clash. As Geelong is happy to accommodate this regardless of who the home team is, there really is no issue. On the other hand, considering ...
