I would have thought you were much older. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/bbc/8981287/Great-Expectations-meets-BBCs-high-hopes.html BTW. The game was definitely against Collingwood. I knew a ...

It seems obvious that Sydney were the only team that were going to recruit Jack that year but he wasn't eligible for the draft. Who knows what would have happened if the AFL had stuck to their rules. Jack might have starred in whatever comp he was playing in and been noticed by other clubs or he mig...

Re: I am Frank Coghlan - who are you?

I'm not really Frank Coghlan but if you go to this site: http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/alltime/stkilda.html Wait for the column DOB to turn blue so that you can sort by Date of Birth. Then find the Saint who has the closest date of birth to yours. It sorts by year and you will have to work out...

Don't all answer at once. But while you ponder the question above here is an unusual stat. Between round 12 1965 and round 7 1967 Barry Breen only kicked four goals in 27 games. They were all against the same team in four different games. He actually played five games against that team in that perio...

You don't get to choose. And Smith and Baldock are born four years apart! There's no shame in being Max Reed or Ike Ilsley.

It's a pretty poor effort from whoever wrote that to throw away 93 years of history and refer to Moorabbin as our Original Heartland.

I could not write Orighinal Heartland and Linen House Oval in the same sentence. OK maybe just once for illustrative purposes.

I remember my first game being 1968 at Moorabbin playing the Pies . I was 5 years old at the time and I don't remember anything else about it . Nothing much has changed. I had no choice but to follow the saints as my Dad did although we lived in Fairfield at the time. It didnt hurt that we were als...
