Re: Playing the tall timber
I think 2 ruck men can work still at afl level, just need to be proactive in structure and not reactive and just copying other clubs. Let me just make it clear that I don't think Hickey and Longer in their current state of development will be the way to go for shirt term success, but who knows how ...

Re: We are officially clearly on the bottom
Sad when part of you thinks it's a good thing to finish last, but with the draft you'll take it.
We must use ps draft to get a player to hold out to come to us and make it work.
I know that draft hasn't been a great draft of late, but time to make it work for us. Eg Treloar or Sheil type from GWS

Re: Still Can't Crack A Century
I understand why you with the ball in back half, but there are times when you could hit a target up the ground and chose to go back.
It's annoying how slow we are with ball use. When we do go quickly we look ok, hold it up and I just think, here we go, opposition goal in 30 secs

Re: Plugger on Fox tonight
I used to love that banner in the CS back then which had the words "Plugger Power". May have even got to hold it a couple of times as a young whipper snapper. Yeah loved that one. Named my first greyhound Plugger Power [emoji2] Yeah was a ripper, but I also have fond memories of 'Siera Te...

We are tanking for priority pick!
If roo and Lenny retire, how could we pay even 50% of the salary cap?

Oh look a mark 5 m in front of opponent and another mark in 50. How bad is this Fascinating Still fascinating me Remarkable. So you want them to play man on man and disregard the coaches instructions to zone in defence? the defensive structures are OK, it is the players ability to do it that is the...

Re: Match Thread - cats v saints
Yes, defenders are always looking to drop off, they lower their eyes and look what happens, due mainly to lack of pressure but how many marks inside 50 have they had?Bunk_Moreland wrote:So its that simple is it?falka wrote:Stand right up their arse

Re: Match Thread - cats v saints
Don't understand how people can say "clearly" touched on the line.. I don't suppose you are in the goal umpires position.. It looked close but the goal umpire was in best position so he is better to make a judgement then any of us... Giving away weak free kicks.. Keep those high tackles d...

Re: Match Thread - cats v saints
What a poor start
That goal umpire is a cheat that was easy touched
We win toss and kick into wind. Great idea
2nd to ball, weak tackling or clumsy tackling
We kick to 1 on 3 which means we have 17 players behind ball yet they just slice up the guts with no pressure. Disgusting
