Agree on the small defender - Harbrow showed this year what a weapon he is with the run and creative attacking football from deep defence...also has the pace to clamp the Stokes', Byrnes and the like. Another key defender is required in the next year or so - a succession plan for Blake / Maguire. Re...

Previously posted this: Either Nathan Brown and a pick for Ball. 20yrs old so only young - big strong CHB (195cm's) - can lock him in for 10yrs. Build a backline around him and still plenty of upside! Free up the Sam's Or McKinley from WCE with Ball to Pies & Davis to WCE With Peake coming is Ev...

No thanks. As has been stated we have more than enough small fowards. Last night I was perusing Collingwoods list and I have come to the realisation they have absolutly nothing I would consider a worthy trade for Luke Ball. They will need to get another team involved or a player plus draft pick for...

If we get McKinley and a high 2nd rounder for Ball, with Davis or whoever going to WCE and we get Everitt with the 2nd rounder a good result.

Either that or Nathan Brown & 2nd rounder for Ball from Coll.

Get it done.

I posted this on another Bally thread, but reckon it's appropriate here as well: A couple of blokes that may be of serious interest to us at Collingwood are Ben Reid and Nathan Brown, who are ready made CHB's. If we let Goose go, they may be very appealing as "back-up's". Both were taken ...

I can think of nothing sweeter for scum fans if there was 30 secs to go in a PF... Blues up by 3 points... BJ collects on the wing, takes a bounce and drills it to FEVOLA... GOAL! Saints go into the GF. I'd pay $10k to see that. Camera pans to the crowd where Hamill,Kenny Sheldon and Wow ...

Too slow, can't kick...it is unfortunate but he has had a contract offer on the table since July. I still think he is injured, or at least not 100%. Luke ran the 100m in year 12, with his time being almost a mirror of Judd's - he was a very quick when first drafted. Coll have nothing of note that we...

Regardless of how cheap he is, no for me. We need footballers who are hungry for success, I've never seen Nathan Brown as having that mentality. He has never had the chance to play for a serious premiership contender. There are many older players who die for the chance, just ask Max. My doubt is wh...

Both Maguire & BJ both bulked up quite a bit...if you remember back, this was when the Lions were big and strong and GT tried to emulate their style of play.....however I think he read the landscape incorrectly and the style of game changed to a more posession and running game. Something that pu...

Let's also take into account the amount of time Goose has been out of the game. He would not be AFL match fit and bring him in on such a big game would be a gamble. If Max is still injured for the Weagles game, RL might consider giving him a run in a less pressure game. Providing of course it suits...

Do we have a dedicated Kicking Coach??

Interested if anyone knows if we have a dedicated kicking coach. It seems to me that our foot skills as a team are lagging the other top line teams and have done so for a number of years. As proved in our finals series this year, we were eaten up by skillful and creative kicking by the 2 top teams. ...
