Con, I grew up in Melbourne. I was offered a job here in Perth in 88. I thought I'll come over here for two years. I'm still happily living in Perth. It's now well and truly my home. The pros The weather The beaches The people tend to be happier and friendlier because of the weather. The lifestyle i...

I think Ray will be fine - he was clearly intending the ball.
Thanks Finna,

that's good news

The Bombers really want to win. The players want to impress their coach. The players and team really want to show their fans that they are going to be great this year. The Saints are playing a prictice match. They wouldn't mind winning but nit at all costs. It's the only difference. I'm ready for th...

Thanks for that bratty, West Of Moorabbin looks like an excellent resource. The info is laid out quite bizarrely but I'll be able to knock it into shape. Thanks to all for chiming in, and don't be shy about contributing to the Wiki whether it be new information or corrections. Or PM me to add them ...

Emma Quayle spends an enormous amount of time watching the under 18s (and we don't) She's actually a pretty good judge, based on previous years'assessments I've seen from her.. Her phantom draft was more accurate than hsun and afl imo. So she can't be too bad. I would have preferred Harper or Darli...

I don't think he's a brother to Jason but there are a million Cripps in the Northampton region, some of them are related to the Lockyers (as in Tarkyn) through marriage as well. Great bloodlines. I've seen Jamie play a few times this year. It's always hard to tell how a player will actually go from ...

Good luck. For the record I am looking for a 1996 Centenary round Saints jumper, but I think my chances are super-super-duper-slim. Yep, I'm the same. Having no luck! I'm after the same. It's obviously a bit of a collector's holy grail. I'm also after the early 81/82 jumper with the "groovy&qu...

impossible to know the fixture has not yet been released. Due to be released on or about 23 October (Saturday week) !! My Chrystal Ball says: Mick M will complain about the tough draw, pointing out that Collingwood has to travel twice to Etihad Stadium. The Saints will travel interstate 7 times.

The Saints are in my hear and blood. I can never give up on them.

But this hurts,

REALLY HURTS.

Ross and the boys did amazingly well to cover Rooeys absence but second is not good enough for the Saints any more.

WE need a PREMIERSHIP.

WE NEED A PREMIERSHIP.

WE NEED A PREMIERSHIP.

Merlin I'm with you but I'm sick of all these "character building" losses.

Time for a premiership, nothing else will do.

The club and players owe us as much as we owe the club.

Where are the Footy Gods????

I know a premiership should not fall in your lap.

Why don't the footy gods look after Saints and their suporters?

The ball would not bounce for us, the scores would be posters or rift to behinds, and most of all Rooey would have kicked that goal.

Don't forget that Robert Eddy was injured when an umpire run through him during a NAB Cup game. He was in the side at the end of the previous season, was winning a lot of the time trials during the pre-season. It took him a long time to get back to fitness. Here's one of the articles on it at the ti...

Great get Gussy, sums up in parts how we are all feeling. I've loved this club since I was 5. My family are all Collinwood supporters but Dad took me to a game at the MCG in 65 against Richmond. Cowboy was larger than life, he was a monster of a man. I had a Saints jumper with 18 on the back from th...

And some new commentary to get over the Mike Williamson's (sorry if my memory isn't quite right) when talking about the tightness of the game, "I've already had a dozen heart attacks."
