Well I have about 40 years of Saints viewing and I couldnt agree more with the post. Never have I seen a last quater by 2 individuals like that of Lenny and BJ that day. These 2 alone almost dragged us over the line. One cruel cruel bounce was all it was. I agree it must never be forgotten the effor...

Good Luck Everyone
To all on this fantastic site. Thanks for a great year of comments. I dont post much but read often. Barrack Hard say a little prayer and do whatever it takes to get our Mighty Boys over the line. I dont know how they will go tomorrow but I do know Ross will have devised a plan to knock Collingwood ...

Even without Roo we should still have these two team covered. Essendon played out of their skins that night. They kicked 3 or 4 extremely flukey goals and we wasted our gettable ones. The Post Adelaide game was the worst game the St.kilda football club has played under Ross Lyon. The fact Port only ...

This is my only comment on the game. Milne's 40 metre dribbler was INEXCUSABLE. A clear path to goal no one near him OMG. If he was a 10 game rookie maybe but a 10 yaer player with almost 200 games is not on. I look for turning points in games and to me that was it. we were in control and needed sco...

Last 3 or 4 games against North have been awful games. Remember the earlier game this year. Only when they ran out of players in last 1/4 did we manage to get on top. Dont know how they do it but the have an uncanny knack of dragging us down to thier level. We panicked all day butchered the ball by ...

At the end of the day I was happy with our comeback. Essendon were playing for everything today. We had nothing to play for. Sides are setting themselves for us every week. Paul Roos said Sydneys game 2 weeks ago was thier best for the season. Carlton have not played a better game all year than agai...

Its tough to talk about Bakes like this but gee I reckon he is really struggling. Gilbert must come staight back in if ready next week and i just cant find anybody else to move aside right now. Have to stick with raph because he will get better with a few more games. Gwilt and McQualter were the 2 m...

Yep worst umpiring this season no doubt. Very inconsistant all day. But agree with earlier post about the Carlton Lions game. I get as much enjoyment at seeing Carlton lose as I do seeing the saints win but boy the umpiring up there was just awful. What is it with the lion supporters, they were so q...

Having just watched the replay of the game I am rapt with the boys today. While at the game you get frustrated and caught up barracking and yelling but to sit down and really watch how Brisbane threw everything at us and for the boys to stare back at the challenge and rise above it was awsome. This ...

Hamill's Hit on Aker
Anyone remember that fantastic night a few years ago when Aker was in his Brisbane colours and Hammil cleaned him up in the centre of the ground early on in the game. Aker squealed for a week about how unfair it was and not in the spirit of the game etc etc. Remains one of my fondest memories. Boy I...

Bit unfair to say he has no defense in his game. Five years ago I agree but the past couple of seasons has worked on this part of his game. Lyon would not play him no matter how many goals he got unless he improved his pressure and tackling in the forward 50. Still makes the odd dumb decision but th...

Milne - Best small Forward in Comp?
While he had a quite game last week I am amazed at the amount of flack the guy gets. For the past 5 or 6 years he has been at the feet of our tall forwards cleaning up the spills. Can anyone name another small forward who has consistantly kicked goals week after week like Milney has done. We need to...

Wow some great reads there. Those of us old enough to remember Moorabbin at its peak will never forget the experience. Its why we are so addicted and obsessed with this Footy club. Cannot wait for that premiership that WILL come. The celebrations will be something that has not been seen in this town...
