Re: Milne and OBrien investigation
Well guys - not sure where this thread has gone - 14 pages and - no offense - can't be bothered reading them all - not sure how Milne/Obrien morphed into Milane - BUT my problem with this whole thing - and forgive me if this has been mentioned elsewhere - I would like to see the umpire put under inv...

Re: DO SOMETHNG ABOUT THE UMPIRING STKILDA FOOTBALL CLUB
On the reply it was 25 to 14 BEFORE the obrien free - so thats 26 to 14 - 9 to 2 in the last qtr - we were playing the ball and getting there first a good deal of the time in the last so no call for such discrepancy - Pies had 2 frees to make a goal in the first 1 minute of the last term - umpiring ...

Re: My turn to turn on Kosi
Kosi - should be moved on I think - in his defence there were 2 or 3 scraggs on him which were atomatic frees at the other end - could have had 4 goals - my main problem with him is what happens for the rest of the game when he is not having his 2- 4 shots on goal - his opponent runs rampant at grou...

Re: Having let the emotions subside
I am ever the optimist with regard to Saints - pre season i saw them as being better then last year na d was happy to see Lyon go....why? Last year some top flighters had shocking years - Roo, Gilbert, we had injuries - lenny, Gwilt our mid tiers had room for improvement - Jack, armo and some of our...

Catches win matches .....
Simple but true cricket statement - would a footy equivalent be - Missed shots cost finals spots >?? Too many times in the last few years the saints have played gut busting footy only to be let down by simple errors in finishing goal scoring opportunities....... rumors about soft tissue injury conce...

Re: Saad would have been handy
Agree - Saad has added real speed to the forward line that puts all the pressure back on the back men and creates goals for himself and others - back in next match fior sure i would think having said that geary played very well as the sub IMO and has learnt how to use his running abilities - which i...

Raph was very good I thought -almost shows too much courage running with the flight and is sure to get cleaned up - was all over the ground and provided a lot of spread - unfortunately he is almost guaranteed a clanger or 2 per game which people all remember - if he can cut them out and continue to ...

Re: Round 12 Team v Adelaide
The good news is we have about 30 genuine players competing for the top 22 - if injuries don't stop us we should be able to field strong teams every week. simpkin has been good but was destroyed by Jack R a few weeks back ( not the first guy to suffer that ) and maybe can flex some musclefor the Zeb...

Considering there is Ben, Stanley, fisher and geary out injured - is there anyone who is now running around for the zebs who can make an impact on the top 22 ??

He has taken me by suprise - still can't work out where he came from - and keeps getting a game seemingly from nowhere - still not in our 22 I wouldn't think - BUT has been very good and will hopefully be a great player in years to come

Blake: a waste of time
There has been a lot of Blake love lately and i think there is probably room for a bit more :D I pose the question will he ever use his well earned engineering (?) degree ? you would have to think he is a prime candidate to remain in the system in a coaching role - he's played every position on the ...

Re: Jason Gram's game
If thats his girl friend - he has made it - I think he is also playing pretty well and doesn't need to initiate body on body contact every time he gets the ball - I think he wins a good share of his one on one contests
