Snapped a good goal and should have been groomed all along as a Milne-like forward pocket.
Either through personal ambition or club overestimation he's been played as a midfielder with dubious results.
I was hoping RTB would turn him into a premier crumber.

Re: What's up with Phillipou?
If the rezzies are good enough for Windhager (for approx ten weeks) and Bytel (practically permanently) then they're good enough for Phillipou and Caminiti.

Wow.
Feel incredibly foolish for thinking they'd show up to play tonight.

Harsh, even offensive, but I don't disagree that the Male Depression/Kumbayai Game has been a demonstrable disaster for us.

Re: RTB on SEN this morning
Overall, I thought he had some interesting insights but was a bit wishy washy about the teams patchy and up and down form. When asked about the W L W L pattern, he actually said he couldn’t remember who we played last week and doesn’t look back. He didn’t give us anything at all. Does that a lot. C...

Saying something incendiary about Luke Ball "which is an open secret" and then, as proof, linking to an article about Jason Ball is not Saintsaiional's greatest moment.

Taranto's goal
Damning footage on the Sunday Footy Show of Seb Ross standing around watching as his opponent Taranto breaks free and waltzes towards goal.

Re: I think RTB has a test on front of him!
Being outcoached by McQualter would have to sting. But RTB isn't renowned for his flexibility. On a couple of occasions RTB has claimed that the squad is giving maximum effort. He's effectively patting himself on the back because he coaches effort. So if it's not effort, what accounts for the lapse ...

Good on the Tiges.
Made all the right decisions and cleaned up with three flags.
Meanwhile we dicked around at Seaford with half-arsed draft picks and clueless nice guy coaches.

Re: 360 and the tackle
Earlier in the week Lewis was adamant Butler would get a week (which he approved) and Sicily would get off.
Which had nothing to do with him being a former Hawthorn player.
I'm the first to say people on here are too sensitive to criticism but that was just daft.

Re: We’re just making opposition look better than they are
The GWS game was better than it looked. A high pressure game against a very hungry team back on its home deck after a long break. A team that the following team beat Geelong in Geelong. Othwerwise, intensity certainly seems to have dropped off. We all predicted it ... bodies tiring, game plan worked...

Re: Will this re-awaken the real Ross Lyon?
You have to wonder of Cuddly Ross is working. We all heard stories about players being so sh*t-scared of RTB that they did extra fitness sessions in the off-season. Then, in the first five rounds ,they played out of their skins. Since then Cuddly Ross has made plain that he's not to be feared after ...

RTB might step away if St Kilda collapses in the second half of the season. The Adelaide match was very Ratts/Richo-like.

I reckon he's good but has never reached his potential. His game against Geelong last year was super. Was hoping he'd flourish under RTB.
