Dylan Roberton
Just got back from 7 months overseas so apologies if this has been discussed but I notice he hasn't been in the side. One of the shining lights of last year. Where is he at?

Montagna vs Dal Santo
Twice in the last few weeks I have been asked by friends who support opposition teams "Who has been the better player, Joey or Dal?"
Interested in everyones thoughts.

Re: New boys - How many games?
I don't understand how Bruce doesn't play most games. We cried out for key defenders during last season and we go and get them and don't play them. I see Delaney FB and Bruce CHB which then frees up Fisher & Roberton to play the rebounding defenders role. Gilbert and Fisher were injured for mos...

New boys - How many games?
It's exciting to have a large group of talented young players who are yet to play in St Kilda colours. Longer, Savage, Delaney, Bruce, Markworth, White, Billings, Pierce, Dunstan and Acres. How many games, baring injury, do you expect each of these guys to play in 2014? Without any exposed form from...

Re: Rookie Draft 28/11/13 - Official discussion thread
It is rare that a player who wins All Australian at the U/18s state carnival misses out on being drafted. I remember there was a South Australian AA who missed out but got picked up in either the pre season or rookie drafts but eventually proved a failure - name eludes me. Panos. Last year. Port pi...

Re: Junior path to AFL
The Geelong regions produces so many talented young players at both AFL and VFL levels it is amazing given we are talking about a regional city. It is due to how strong both the GFL (Geelong Football League) and Geelong Junior Football Leagues are. Many kids playing at the Falcons play senior footb...

Re: Junior path to AFL
I have read that there is zoning system that effects the recruitment of underage kids into the TAC cup clubs Ie: If you grew up and played football in the Geelong region are you only then eligible to play for the Geelong Falcons - I assume you cannot be recruited by say the Sandringham Dragons or G...

Re: More Delisting to come
Maybe they shouldnt have kept him but he now isnt going anywhere as he was signed at the end of the season. The only ones likely to go are those on the last year of a contract who were signed last season. I suppose those players are Saad, TDL, Dunnel. Yeah I understand that but resigning Jones was ...

Re: More Delisting to come
Maister, Gwilt, and Jones are all useful players. Maister is critical as a big forward who works hard and doesn't mind the physical punishment. Gwilt is a very good player who has had to play on guys 10cm taller and 10kg heavier than him in recent times, while Jones is a hard working gut runner who...

Agree. Dal was a class act throughout the whole process by putting the Club ahead of himself. Champion.Selhurst Saint wrote:Definitely not. He said all along he wanted to do what was best for STKFC. I will actually take the opportunity to applaud him given the chance.
