Is Jack Steven injured or not? I'm sure another thread the other day said he was.
If he isn't, I would definitely bring him in for Eddy.

While some people prolly don't like Mark Robinson - personally, i think he's ok, a bit melo-dramatic a times - I liked how he gave kudos to Grammie for that late spoil in the dying seconds.

No other journo mentioned it probably cos they weren't at the friggin' game...

The HUN should do a journo rating. I'll start with a worst on ground thumbs down to D. Brereton 11 out of 100. Back to the bar for the graceless old mutton face. Started the week with a definitive loss to the Saints, "Saints will lose by at least 6 goals and even if Riewoldt kicks 6 they won't...

Was at a mates place. Half time went outsdie and kicked asoccer ball around with him. stayed out there the whole second half - I'm a terrible 'watcher' when we aren't ahead - had the TV up just enough to hear when an ad break indicated a goal. Went inside and watched the last 40 seconds. This week, ...

Kosi and Blakey

Dunno if anyone has mentioned this on another thread but there was a great moment between the two in the sheds after the game. The camera were on them - Blakey was sitting while Kosi leaned down, heads touching slightly. Kosi was talking, possibly saying, 'well done mate, we did well. Now we do it a...

Shane Crawford put forward a good argument the other week. His reasoning was that, however many games were required to finish top 8 and play finals eg. 12, whoever on the premiers' playing list played that number of games or greater should get a medal. The theory being that their contribution helpe...

Yeah, I read a book about him earlier this year and he is just a fanatical fan like all of us.
Does charity work and stuff.

The truly feral Pie fans give him and maybe a lot of their CS a bad name, like other clubs I guess.

Yeah, Ben in. Kosi and Blakey did well but it was wet things would be different.

Why didn't Milney spend time in the midfield like against the Cats?

Breathtaking, shame it's in a game that had no outcome, hope it doesn't get lost as a result. PS - It is evil to be enjoying the look on Balls face? Agree, hope it doesn't get lost. For that piece of play to get the respect it deserves, we have to win it now, don't we? Even still, next we...

Yeah, in a last qtr of 'moments', this was our saviour. Another Pies score would've have nailed us. Everyone has their opinion on which moments could've been - for me, it was just after BJ's and goal (he is now, with no disrespect to Lenny or Roo, the best player in the competition). All the passin ...

I loved his timing. He delayed it a milli-second so Didak had the ball, so he didn't do anything illegal.
I reckon Didak got injured from it as he did nothing after that.

I thought Maxwell's comment was ok. i liked his 44 warriors thing, that was a sign of respect, and maybe an admission that the pies had been too cocky before the game and at half time probably. I was surprised that hardly any players - if any - shook hands? I know it was a surreal moment but it woul...

It will be sad if we lose next week and a pie wins the NS - Lenny's might be pushed into the shadows simply because it was the 'first' game.

I'm over the talk off 100 more inside fifties or whatever the stat is. The inside fifty is the most over-rated stat in footy!! The ball dribbles over it way out near the boundary - stat to the pies. Comes back out then in again - another stat! RIDICULOUS!! The only stat relating to it is shots on go...

I thought Schneids had a fairly average day myself. No lack of effort but he didn't take it by the scruff. Joey was in the packs too much - he's much better outside using his pace and kicking as the link man. Dal wasn't fully fit, it was obvious. It looks like Ross used him purely as an extra defend...

The most annoying thing about a draw is that whatever happens next week, today's GF sort of will be forgotten.
