Therein lies a huge difference.
Yes I agree it even made to harder for the the Bushrangers seeing as all of those 7 teams were FULL STATE teams. Good point Saints are now a 'shoe in.'

Was thinking exactly the same thing this morning when I heard that news. In fact I am more confident this year than I was last year. That's because I think we had a slightly off year in 2010 but we made the G/F because in reality there was Saints & Pies then daylight to the rest. I am really exc...

Who knows what Mini is capable of if the chains of the 'role' he was required to play every week are lifted.
If some of these 'roles' are relaxed a bit this year we might see some very different players in 2011.
IMO.

Dogs will be lucky to finish top 8 let alone top 4. They have 1 avenue to goal and he is just about in a wheelchair. IMO I can't see them going anywhere.

[quote="The OtherThommo"]All you have to do, to see how Vicpol works, is to read page 2 of last Saturday's Age. That's the Underbelly page - John Silvester and Andrew Rule. Last week they described, in detail, the Ocean Grove bus incident in the Jewish 1/4. Long story short - the driver of...

Maybe they are right. Adam Pattison was a waste of a pick. Dean Polo can't get a game at Richmond and now he is at our club? Brett Peake isn't much good, he cost us big time in both Grand Finals. Look at Collingwoods first goal in GF1 for proof. Ryan Gamble might be handy, he could be worth a punt,...

It'd be nice if Steven could take his chance next year. If Armo doesn't do it in 2011 he never will. Stanley's shown a lot of potential, but needs to beef up a bit really. He's still very young though. Armo just turned 22 in June. How old were Hayes, Joey and Gwilt when they started playing good fo...

I am very excited about next year. Ross is a big believer in doing your time in the 2nds. Our young players are held back more than any other list in the AFL. His comments after the G/F indicate that this will, like his game plan IMO, have a fair bit of tweaking next year. Just remember where Gwilt ...

No f...ing way!!

Now offer us one of their mid fwds and l would think about it. That why Collingwood have so much trouble with them b/c they have heaps of good mid size fwds. Bate, Pettard etc.
