2 Ms for 1 M
If I was in charge of the list my first deal come the end of the season would be Trade Montagna to North for Brad Mckenzie and Jamie Macmillan.. Think that could work very well for both..

Re: Jarryn Geary ... Cats target?
Whatever they are offering, let's take it. I love his enthusiasm, effort and endeavour, but he is not the type the pelican is trying to build a team around. Kicking and decision making are not good enough. You may quote 71% efficiency in kicking, but that masks what he actually does under pressure....

Re: Optimism or Realism?
I honestly think we're on the right track, people keep saying its going to get worse, I don't think they've been watching close enough. I really do believe our senior players have let us down a lot this yr, I can't really fault our young players effort they're made of the right stuff.. Other then Ro...

Re: Positive from today
Sometimes you have to look past the score to be able to point some obvious positives IMO. Armo great leadership. Stanley I think he's going to good when we get better he will get better similar to Justin Westoff in that respect. Dunstan was solid all day. Hickey Think we have a star on our hands her...

No 1 pick
I saw Brett Anderson phantom draft today. Doesn't sound like there is a standout Key forward I would hope that we go for the best Midfielder, moving forward I think this will give us the best chance to improve as quickly as possible. Stock up on quality Mids.

Re: Where are we heading..
Exactly cwrcyn… we must have used the most players this year with 38 of 45 listed players so far, will probably be at least 40 by the end of the year. Whats that got to do with the healthy players not running back to pick up their men or running to cover someone else's. Doesn't take a healthy list ...

Re: Where are we heading..
If you think Joey is giving it everything and trying as hard as Lenny or even Ray and jones, your not watching him without the ball, as for the rumours this is the first I've heard of it.. Observations Joeys going kick chasing and putting himself ahead of the team, it's not even a question of doubt ...

Where are we heading..
I for one feel this season has shown that our young talent is there a couple of years of development and our list will be in good shape.. The most disappointing part of the year from my perspective has been the senior group and how poor they've led. Lenny and Roo have been outstanding and Demoster w...

Re: shenton
If you put him and Geary next to eachother I would take Shenton everytime.. Heaps more upside and shows 30% more composure then Geary ever has.. Im certainly no geary fan but Shenton has played about 3 games. Look at Roberton last year. Due to various reasons is struggling big time :as this year. g...

If you lined them all up I'd take Michael Hurley..
Our best defender is Sam Gilbert shame his injured, back end of last yr and the start of this yr defensively he has been outstanding

Re: St Kilda TPP lowest in the league
I think the main advantage to paying only 95% isnt so we can get a big fish, its being able to keep your players when their value goes up.. Thats the main reason Port were able to keep all their players also North Melbourne haven't lost any of there young players and only now they're paying 100% bec...

Re: INS and OUTS for Saturday v GWS
Surely they won't play 4 key forwards. Surely not. And if they do, I would use it to our advantage, not match them man for man. Cameron will have to be matched up with Dempster, Roberton or Simpkin. Gwilt is too slow I think. I would say Gilbert would just about be the perfect matchup then almost a...

Re: Best ever saints quarter of football
Round 14 2009 Last quarter. If he hadn't already Lenny Hayes went from a star player that everyone thought was a very good player to the top of the tree in a midfield sense, when he took on a Geelong midfield boasting multiple all Australians, brownlows, premiership....... and Won!

Was there here's some observations.. Maister was very strong early.. Delaney looks very good. Billings money for the NAB if fit can't see why not for Round 1 very good. Blake excellent 3rd when he went across Hb very clean. Saunders best of the 2nd yr players works really hard across HF Bruce good i...

Re: New leaders required
Who are the next leaders of this club? From afar as supporters we have no idea and all we can go from is the on field efforts shown . Therefore who do we need to see increased on field leadership from in 2014. Lenny, Roo, Monty have been there for a long time. Geary seems to be standing up in this ...

Because their not pieces of meat.. It's a human being and there looking after him as good clubs should. You are right. They should not be treated like pieces of meat but the reality is that they are treated like chattel. Under our system, clubs will always do what is "best" for the club. ...

Unconfirmed whisper that it's one year backdated to August..... then he's a monty to get rookied.....
