But that's just my point. I don't think the VFL want that to occur. They don't want existing teams being driven out of the VFL. That said, Frankston are crap, and taking over them might appeal to the VFL.

I thought the VFL (Schwab?) mentioned earlier this year that no other AFL stand alone reserves sides would be admitted to the competition. Something about them not wanting the competition to lose it's identity.

Therefore, I'm not sure if it's even a possibility at this point.
