Re: Carlisle "scandal"
The more I think of it, surely he was pranking. No sane person, let alone one in the public domain, would film themselves doing genuine drugs snap chat or no. It just seems like a spur of the moment silliness with salt or something that young folk do. Dumb, dumb, dumb but not the end of his career....

Re: The Father All Mighty, Ameet Bains
Brooks pick was obtained from Hawks for Spida; was a top 10 but not our pick originally.
Fiora was traded for Heath black.
Lovett was pick 16.
I don't know who Walsh is/was.
So one top 10 pick traded as far as I can see, none since 2002.

I am happy with this. Nowhere near a straight swap for 5, which is what I wanted to avoid. Hopefully 14 is a good mid.

Re: The Bombers Are Bottom Feeders
Dodo obviously thinks handing over 2 x second round picks is over the top, is he an out an out self pleasurer or is he correct ? 100% correct, our offer was a terrible one and if Dodoro accepted it he should have been fired on the spot. I don't think the saints expected him to take it, but wanted t...

Re: Jake Carlisle
Wonderful. Unlikely also. Love to get one of these types of deals up but you need to have a reason for another team to give us pick 8 or 9. If we can package some picks in the 20s that add up (in points) to more than what 8 is valued at then GWS have an incentive to trade. Crows need to want someone...

Re: 2015 - Draft & Trade Thread
the longer it goes the more i hope we either:
- keep 5, give 24 for freeman and use 42 for rice (or later pick if possible), and hope but not bank on carlisle in the PSD; or
- use 5 to get carlisle and freeman (bombers give 23 to pies), we keep 24 & 42 for drafting.

As I said. The rule is supposed to protect tradition. This kind of crud just makes a mockery of the whole notion. He made a choice, it should be honoured. If not then dont give him the choice. Put it this way. If I chose St.Kilda cause my dad played there and someone made a bid for me the Saints co...

I think it's our pick 5 for their Weller and their 2016 1st rounder.
And he is ridiculously good looking. 2000 extra members right there.

We already have 42...does it mean 32? Crows have 9, 13, 28, 32.

Re: Bailey Rice?
If Bailey Rice doesn't end up at St.Kilda by his own choice then the rule should be scrapped. What a load of shite. Didn't we all whinge that the rule was too generous when Geelong got Ablett, Hawkins, Scarlett? Now they tighten up the rule and we whinge again that its not generous enough. Agree. I...

Hickey / Longer expendable. Pierce and Holmes are capable backups. We don't have a ruck/fwd, don't want Bruce doing the pinch hitting.
