Re: Changes for next week

Schneider 14 disposals, 7 effective but gave 5 free kicks away giving him and the team a net of 2 effective disposals. No value to the team last week. Hope he makes a contribution next week if he stays in the team

Re: The Official "Stop bagging Billings" Thread.

Billings today showed why he was considered the best footballer in that years draft. This boy can score goals from anywhere, we have enjoyed some skilful players over the last 30 years at St Kilda, most amazing at field kicking but none were great reliable kicks for goal other than Plugger. None co...

Great to see him kicking on his left yesterday. It may take him to another level as a two sided player

Re: Joey's view on the young guys - worth a read

Sinclair is the dark horse. As Joey says, has come from no where pre-season , came on against GWS and looked very classy. He looks like a classical centreman. He is very clean with both hand and foot, good vision, and doesn't mind the heat. He played a very good game against the Hawks in the nab cu...

I like the look of jack Sinclair. May get a game sooner than later. Didn't appear to be overawed against the Hawks. Could be a long term player for us.

Sheehan never rated Lockett when he was at StKilda. He rated Warwick Capper a better player at the time.

There will be more traded. The only question is who has the currency for a good deal. Perhaps Jack Steven for the right trade :?:

Love the Post Jiggster! ...... and love the banter. For me, they are all great clubmen, but with different focuses. The Doc - for his "sensationalism" and excitement he generated whenever he went near the ball. Captained us from nowhere to a premiership. Plugger - the game changer. Loved ...

Jack has a very strong sense of Ian Stewart both in his precision left foot kicking and his vertical leap in packs. I look forward to many years of enjoyment watching Jack play footy for the saints.

Not much self confidence, not hard enough at the contest, not enough strong leading, poor kicking - long way to go!

1966 Stkilda v hawthorn last game of the season at moorabbin. D Baldock with badly injured knee selected as 19th man. Stkilda was well behind at 3/4 time. Jeans was quoted as saying when asked why he played the injured Baldock, "It was either play him today or wait for the night series". B...

Re: Lets Be Honest! Its the coaching.

Geelong carried out a detailed review of their coach, coaching structure and personnel before going on to win premierships. I imagine that the StKilda Board identified measures for success in appointing Chris Pelchen and Scott Watters. Having fallen from being a finalist in 2011 to 16th in 2013 it i...
