With West Coast on 16 points already I highly doubt they will be winning another game. Plenty of competitive losses by under 3 goals but I highly doubt we will win again.

i wouldn't be surprised if Melbourne get a bit worried about what they've seen happen with the Hawthorn/Franklin etc. draft and go for Natanui through fear of what he may be. Watts is more like Franklin than Nat is. He's big, strong, athletic and unlike Franlkin is a long, accurate kick for goal. I...

I wouldn't think Freo would do any better than Carlton's pick 24

Warnock is average at best, just bloody tall

reminds me of Peter Street...

I think some easy money will be made West Coast are already coming into $3.50 with Saints You don't have a top 10 pick and you have very little you would be willing to trade that is actually of value to WC Dal/Ball won't get you a top 10 in this years draft with their current form Roo isn't going an...

gun defenders in the making - both have played a fair bit of football at Claremont together.

How do you expect to rebuild the top 6-8 though ?

They are the premium players and with so much research going into junior development it is becoming very very hard to get these players later in the draft.

You cant cheat the trend. I think the Swans have had a great run with injuries but I think they might have some lean years ahead. West Coast went down so dramatically because of Judd and Cousins. Both genuine freaks back in 04/05. I believe you should be in one of 3 "Premiership states" 1...

Don't look at Natanui as a ruck - sure he is 198cm and will have a 110cm+ vertical leap and sub 2.9 20m time but look at him as one of the most athletic & exciting inside midfielders to ever come through the draft, him rucking is very little to do with what will get him drafted. Him being the #1...

I would hate to lose Daniel Kerr

We only just got Ebert & Masten into the side this year to help rebuild after Cousins and Judd and neither of them have the game breaking ability of the big 3.

Wisbey Profile on Goddard have one on Salopek as well if your interested [quote]Brendan Goddard 188/80, right-foot dual-sided, bottom-age. 6'2" ruckrover-type midfielder who can play tall or small. No obvious fault. Clearly #1 pick. Ready for AFL 2003. Style like Michael Tuck (but better kickin...

Nicholas Naitanui You will never see a more athletic, raw, exciting player come through the draft. His kicking ability is understated, for such a young player (experience wise) it's 'good' and definitely not poor, just not Luke Hodge or Dal Santo. 197cm (may have grown) who has natural physical stre...

Hard to believe that there are people who will complain about our 2001 draft. That draft made this club. Ball, Dal, Joey, Goose, X. We missed out on two brownlow medalists, yes, but nobdy's perfect. Every team makes some draft blunders. Three teams could have had Judd and Bartel: us, West Coast and...

I don't think you can blame Dal for the effort on Friday night I watched the replay this morning, overall work rate from the entire midfield was shocking after the first quarter and this resulted in poor delivery to the forwards, bad transition from the backline and defenders being caught out of pos...

very very hard to Judge rapid improver's like Armitage Went from being a complete GOP to being seriously good clearance machine post 06 champs and a magnificent draft camp that really shot him up the rankings among recruiting circles. Kicking is flawed and decision making is hit and miss a lot of th...

great to see him up and about ask any eagles fan who our most valuable and influential player was at the end of 2003 and 90% that know anything about the game will say Gardy. Foxtel are covering the West Coast game (which will be terrible coverage) 10 are covering the saints game, 10 can show the Foxtel game but Foxtel can't show the 10 game, 10 can only show 2 games a week so I'm quite sure they will want to maximise the audience and they won't do that showing the swan...
