Re: Player names on jumpers

what a load of dumbed down americana rubbish. are the players gonna run on the ground one at a time with an intro now? if you're at the game you won't be able to read the names from a distance and if you're watching TV the commentators will tell you the names (correctly about 99% of the time) don't...

Re: Player names on jumpers

Yep they do but number 7 last year and the year before was number 7. Not sure people bought 2 of them but Hayes is a different jumper. it takes a while for a new number 7 to establish themselves and who's to say your new favourite player wears no 7, could be 25 the good players stay in their number...

Re: If you missed it, open training day tomorrow

I couldn't really pay close attention, wrangling a kid and chatting but a few observations from today Running work on the boundary Lee, Fisher, Stanley, Sipposs, Billings, Roo, Pierce, Weller Big Holmes had a good crack in the ruck but still has a lot of work to do on his kicking, style ok but didn'...

Re: Only two more sleeps

yeah it's killing me, lucky there's decent cricket to watch! Depends what you define "decent cricket" as? The Aussies have faced perhaps one of the worst English sides to ever tour and are about to sweep them 5-0. Call me insane, but I don't regard a one-sided series as being decent at al...

Re: Ashley Prescott

Back on Topic; There are conflicting reports on whether Prescott AND the club have signed a contract. I guess we will find out one way or another by Wednesday when training starts for the years 1-4 players on our list. If he's there we can all safely assume he has a contract, if not, probably not !...

Re: Sen predicting mass exodus

So he was offered less than Lovett? add that to the way he was used in 09 GF I for one can't blame him at all! Dont forget Lyon had been publicly humiliating Ball in the media throughout the entire season. He had been saying how he had flaws in his game and needed to work on them. I have no problem...

most definitely agree, after the amazing feeling and cultural boost of the Kosi, Blake, Milne retirement game I can't see any overwhelming benefit in trading Dal.
Culture and unity are far more important than a maybe defender and a maybe draft pick
