Re: Changes

We love to rip Armo & Jack apart when they had a less than great day. They may both be no better than B+ midfielders. Dunstan is suffering from limited pre season and oppo being more aware of him. At present he's our third midfielder so heaven help the rest. Sinclair will be a star but we don't ...

Re: Enough is enough

Who is going to become our Pendlebury(or Murphy or Sellwood or Priddis) for that matter. I know that we got sucked in today but stuff that is let go time and again is penalised immediately if it's against these type of guys. Maybe our blokes in the midfield are too young to cry to the umps enough yet.

I Despise Carlton

I'm going to get the emotional rant out of the way. My God I Despise Carlton. The whole organisation has a great sense of entitlement, even when they are entitled to bugger all. It must be drilled into the players that play there because the arrogance and smugness of the likes of Gibbs, Simpson and ...

Re: Starting to Feel Excited About the 2015 Season Ahead

Before last season started everybody had written the Brions off as having worst list in league. Things can change quickly in this comp. Not everybody develops at the same rate. That being said we must be odds on to win spoon but like everyone else am looking for incremental improvement across the li...

Re: Is Weller signed for next year?

Jack had 14 touches in first quarter. Mav went to him after 1/4 time and kept him to 11 for rest of game. In that time he picked up 15 himself. For a tagger I think that's a pretty good game. A player who will never be elite but hard at it and deserves his spot. Pretty good season so far.

Re: Votes v Swans

We didn't have a real lot of young guys playing yesterday. Steven & Armo don't really count as "old" but I know what you mean, thought Wright was OK for first game back but needs to tidy up disposal. Shents good as sub, Ross just OK but looks very slow. Weller didn't do a bad job. Curr...

Re: Slipping Over

I was watching in Adelaide so had no audio as the place I watched at only had Fox vision, so no idea if ground was wet or was raining in Sydney but just seemed chronic compared to Sydney. Would hate to think it was to do with only taking 1 pair of boots each. Surely that wouldn't be the case.

Slipping Over

So what was it today with the number of times our guys slipped over, are they wearing the wrong footwear or what is the issue? If so who is im charge of what the boys wear. Cost us at least two goals today.

In Adelaide, Channel 7 are not showing THEIR game at all. We will be treated to a replay of "The Amazing Race" following the Lions/Crows game. Absolute joke.

Re: We desperately need a crumbing forward

Would be nice to have but Milne is a once in a lifetime small forward. You make do, Curren was OK tonight and I think can work. Don't be distracted our biggest need is MIDFIELDERS, MIDFIELDERS, MIDFIELDERS. The next 2 drafts should draft as many mids as possible. We can muddle through with forwards ...

Re: Tributes to Lenny here - we will send him a SS tribute b

Thanks for all the marvellous games over such a long career.

Truly a living legend of our football club.

You know you've done something right when you have universal respect from opposition supporters as well as your own.

Best wishes for a continuing career in whatever comes after football.

Re: Hayes to retire

Much as I would love to see him here in Adelaide I think it would be a fitting send off to a legend of the club if his last game was in Melbourne second last round and don't subject him to the flight to Adelaide.

Allow majority of Saint fans to give him a fitting farewell.

Re: We need to have more input into our fixture

Very true, let's also add the fact that our home games so far have been against the interstate clubs and the lowest drawing Melbourne club(Dees) whose supporters don't go to Etihad in any case. Only decent chance for a good crowd was Carlscum and Monday night needs to be in school holidays or not at...

The more I think about Delaney the more I think I was a bit harsh on him. But I did see him lose a couple of one on ones tonight and just not used to that. Happy to concede on that one.

How I saw them

As an Adelaide Saints supporter this was my take on tonight's players, obviously can't see as well on TV as live but going to have a crack: No 2: Loved that in the second half he finally appeared to find the work rate for this level. And when he found it he suddenly discovered skills. Could have had...

Run & Spread

When you look at yesterday and the rest of the season thus far what really shows is the ability of other teams to hurt us with their gut run and spread with real pace and hard running, especially evident yesterday was the run from behind marking players to create space by likes of Birchall, Hodge an...

You can see the buy in to Richo from all the playing group. This so different to what was seen last year under Watters. There is a long long way to go but my god if the journey throws up gems like tonight it will be worth it. It appears the entire club on and off field has lifted itself up and annou...

Undermining Fish Lips

God I loved it tonight in the first half when this smug t--d was sitting in the box slumped in his corner as though this was a waste of his time to even bother to turn up against a "rabble" like St Kilda. Make no mistake this man wants the Essendon coaching job next year. The media have sw...
