Wasn't Cox a rookie initially, and Priddis has been a successful rookie this year, as has Marty Clark from Collingwood, better than not having rookies.
Yes, our list has been poorly managed. You shouldn't have 5 players retiring in one year, especially with a combined total of over 1000 games experience between them (a third of the list's experience). It leaves too big a hole at once, and unless you are preparing for a couple of years down the bot...
From all the positive reports on Geary I would of hoped he would of been elevated. Attard yes I agree with, but should be placed on the Long Term Injury List. On Jones was pretty disappointing last season apart from one match against Sydney, I would hope he is not promoted.
I agree with Rodger, Baker could be a good small forward, in that he applies great pressure, I suppose in a similar way that Matthew Bode did at Adelaide when he was fit. Perhaps a rotation of Baker, Armitage, and X.Clark through the midfield and as small forwards could be an option if we are unable...
Great news, and well done to the club to pick him up as a rookie. Hopefully he and Armitage both start for us, and replace Blake and Birss, who lets face it, would not be in a premiership side.
the question from me is: if the results are so good normally, why has it taken so long? I heard Ball interviewed on it....and he basically said he had tried everthing else...and so it was now time to have surgery. He sounded quite reluctant. I also know from another source that he was recommended t...
Rodger, out of the fab 4 of port, 2 Cornes, and 2 Burgoynes, I believe only Peter missed about half of the year. Look at the development of players such as Rodan, Surjan, Chaplain, Pettigrew, Westhoff, Robbie Gray, Boak. And to a lesser extent Ebert and Motlop. So coaching had nothing to do with the...
miller and rivers for pick 9? miller isn't a KPP but as a replacement for hamill and he's been on the nose at melbourne for sometime, not good enough for CHF but as the 3rd tall behind kosi and reiwolt he's certainly young enough. rivers, 3rd tall defender a replacement for kosi, can mark can run c...
Well i guess i could give it a shot...any excuse to pull out the boots throughout the summer put me down as 182cm, 71kg, 100m in 11.6secs and 400m in 55secs lets crush those tiger "fans" also ill be able to bring along another very very good footballer, he doesnt post on here but reads it...
When are you going to cotton on to the fact Rodger that a club has to do many things well to win a flag...and not just the one point?????? If you can gain an edge in one area...it can give you an advantage...and perhaps make up for a weakness in another.... The Cats and PA are in the GF this year b...
Judd's criteria stated in Perth on Monday on TV were clubs which were well resourced and likely to have success in the short term. We are not well resourced,(ie got lots of money like his 2 preferences carlton and collingwood- where Edddie is rumoured to have offered a media job to the lovely girlf...
No one is trading GOOSE!! he is AWESOME and will be back on track in 2008!! CHRIST SAKE you should all be ashamed for even thinking IT!! Watts, Fiora and Pick 9 for Judd there you go. Problem is West Coast don't want players, they want draft picks. If we do go after him, we have to give up pick 9, ...
If it is possible to get Judd we should try no doubt. IMO if he makes a full recovery and I think it is worth the punt we will have to give them pick 9 plus we need to get a loer top 10 pick. WCE have said they do not want plaers for the trade so the only hope I see is trade a plyer to another club...
