Re: Votes v Dees
5. Marshall. Was never going to win the hit-out tally but won everything else for four quarters. 4. Steele. Played himself back into form. 3. Wanganeen-Milera. Now winning lots of the ball, just needs a touch of ferocity to take the next step. 2. Webster. Nailed Pickett all night 1. Sinclair. The us...

Re: Crows vs Injectors
After listening to the drivel about Richmond (up to 30 points) and the Swans (down to 14th place) on Channel 7 Thursday night I've drawn the conclusion the media has more navel-gazers than the entire internet. More than even Saintsational! Then, more pumping-up of the Bulldogs last night. The Pies b...

Re: Melbourne...wheres the games biggest concern?
Gee, I'm appreciative that we are not a bottom four team and we are actually playing for a top for position this week. Otherwise, our supporters would be whingeing and banging on about how St Kilda is perennially hopeless. Perhaps our supporters have just evolved into perennial prophets of doom, ev...

Re: Jekyll n Hyde
Gresh, who I had open clearance papers ready for him to sign at half-time, really got on his bike. I swear I even saw him look for one of our players before he kicked. That was rather astonishing! I also saw Haley's comet back in 1986. That's two once-in-a- lifetime sightings to add to my watching ...

Re: We have hit rock bottom .
If you want to see rock bottom have a look at what happened in the 80's. Right on, man! If you didn't see what went on at Moorabbin in the 1980's you weren't there, man! I could only see after half time when there were enough beer cans to stand on to see above the people in front of me. It was prob...

Re: Jekyll n Hyde
Watching the Eagles game again the stark difference between Q2 then Q3 is just astounding Why? The forward of centre push up pressure of the 3rd was impressive As a result our forward 50 looked dangerous….unpredictable but the game was effectively played in centre or forward centre for us I also di...

Re: Hot and Cold Higgins
Higgins needs a kick up the arse! Maybe he needs to be dropped for peris just a little wake up call ala milney and dal style. Sure. Peris is a world beater, no doubt. Was named as an emergency. Higgins has kicked 27 goals this season. Peris has had at least 27 kicks for Sandringham this season. Lik...

He was chasing an opponent flat chat in thr dying moments. I wouldn't have thought he would have come back on if it were any more than a tweak.

Re: It's Hard to Win
Just shows the team is valuing development over wins. I'm OK with that. Pou is the future. And he needs to be developed as a midfielder. We don't need any more half forwards. Byrnes has the opportunity to become the player we need. What was Sincs doing at ages 18-21? FYI we won. You might want to r...

Re: Votes v WCE
5. Marshall. Four quarter effort was one of his best games. 4. Crouch. I wish he would get more kicks, hand ball is his first instinct. But, 17 tackles was some effort. 3. Wood. Just so-so early, very good second half. 2. Howard. When Battle went down I feared he would be overwhelmed. Remained cool ...

Re: Have our injuries caught up with us?
Jack Hayes, the forgotten man. I'm hopeful he is available the last few games. He has real X-factor and is the tall marking forward we have been missing all year. There has been a gaping hole at CHF all year and any forward line with a combination of Hayes, King, Higgins, Butler, Owens and Caminitti...

No luck at all. We dominated the last quarte and ran all over them.
Just more proof the AFL has more accredited talking heads than registered players.

For those who suffer from ADD, when the team was announced the Club clearly stated that Seb was being "managed". Not injured, not dropped, not dead. Just given the weekend off to make sure he is right for the remainder of the season.

Ahem, there is hardly a single player at Sandringham knocking the door down for selection. Billings should be back after his performance, the only player of quality that is ready to go.

And we’re still waiting for our first finals appearance since 2011. You spent 2020 in a coma? You’re right. The only finals appearance we’ve made since 2011 is the COVID hub year. How very St Kilda, to hang our hat on that. No wonder we’re such a sh*tty football club. So, in your world, 2020 didn't...

I've got a friend in her mid thirties, a school teacher and mum of two young boys who was diagnosed with bowel cancer less than a year ago. She has since undergone chemo, radiation and surgery on both lobes of her liver only to be told last week there appears to be a 5 cent sized node on a lung. Ini...
