Re: Tommy Lee
Most people with bung shoulders end up with better shoulders than they ever had after a reco but it usually takes about a year to get full strength back.
Hopefully there is no looking back from here.

How about we just leave the system alone for the next couple of years until we secure our no. 1 or no. 2 pick.
I don't fancy the saints when it comes to luck.

Re: Our looming debt problem: thinking outside the square.
The Hillbillies have offered the Poodles $750,000 per game to play some of their home matches down there. We should look to take up that offer for several of our selected home games. Definitely worth considering. I think Finnis needs to think about: - another NZ game - a Cairns game or two - a Tass...

Re: Cameron for our first pick? YES!!
You may be right but they could also trade our first pick which could be 1,2 or 3 for a player which could tempt a lot of clubs who may have a gun forward but are past the premiership window.

Re: Cameron for our first pick? YES!!
We will finish bottom 3 with Brisbane and gws in 2015. If wants to come to melb we will have the lowest pick avail . They could then on trade that to get a ready made player/forward. Sure he might want to go to hawks/ coll etc but we will have a better pick so should be in the box seat to get the tr...

Re: Some Targets
The thing is free agents are all at least 26 years old. So if youre talking a young gun who wants out for some reason you either trade picks or players to get them (try to screw their club of course) otherwise, the only other way is they walk from their club and nominate the team they wish to go to ...

Re: Nat Fyfe
The fact is were gonna have to pay overs for someone sooner or later if were gonna get someone in on free agency . How else would we get them. . We ll be down the bottom , so instant premiership chance won't be part of the offer. What we do have on our side is salary cap room . Would be interesting ...

Re: There is a reson Richardson didnt get a senior gig!
Ok I went to early and embarrassed myself - I apologise to those offended! I actually like Richardson but our poor starts have cost us the ability to be competitive in games. The opposition are now preying on this and tearing us a new one in the first half of games. That and our lack of risk taking...

Re: Tommy Lee
It takes about a year to fully recover from a shoulder reco.
Both strength and flexability.
Did he have a full reco does anyone know.
If he had both done it would take even longer as u can't use one to help the other.
I hope this is the case anyway

Re: If we play 2 games per year in NZ from 2015.....
You're making the mistake of comparing tassie to n.z.
It is obvious why they are different. If I lived in tassie I would be that hungry to go to the footy I prob would become a bloody hawks member. However if n.z brought a rugby team to melbourne twice a year I wouldn't go even if I had free tickets.
