Re: We lost the game, but won a future......
Scott Watters gameplan is built on defense and he was none-too-pleased about the open tigers waltzing into open goals. What has happened is that after being suffocated for 5 years under Lyon to always adhere to the team rules under any circumstance, the players have finally been given some liscnece...

Re: Jason Gram's game
Gram needs another spell in the VFL. He missed so many tackles last night, avoided a few body on body clashes and I am always nervous when he is one on one. Yes, he can be swung into the midfield and can break the lines through his run and carry but if Sam Fisher is fit perhaps Gram is the one to g...

Re: Blake J.....1 Vote
J blake was an outstanding player before two incidents. 1. that piece of s*** from sydney who's name escapes me, got 2 weeks for purposely dropping his knees into blakes spine. (third offence of this nature). Blake was interviewed afterwards as saying 'he has to manage the pain'. I've done my knees...

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Please let it be -
Out - Polo (his disposal by foot is dodgy to say the least)
In - Ledger or Gram (yes, read above on Polo but at least he can break the lines and play mid and back!)

Re: James Gwilt is back!
That is just excellent news. He has become one of my very favourite players. He will further enhance our defence when he is fit and ready to return to the Seniors.

Re: Tommy Simpkin...impressive
A few times , looking at his movement and body to body contact, I thought I could see Max H. His spoiling is first rate and his timing when it comes to making physical contact with his opposition player and spoiling is like a carbon copy of our Max. What I also like about Tommy S is his neat disposa...

Most St Kilda supporters are not like that and most posters would be ashamed of these posts. I know I am.

Re: LYON RECEPTION THIS FRIDAY NIGHT
Totally agree with Gwilt Edged! Ross was great for us let us not forget that and yes, I think his departure and the appointment of Scott Watters will, in the long term, bring many benefits. Give Lyon and Freo the silent treatment and get behind our boys. Having said that if Lenny lands a tackle on D...

Now I am Cretan and have on occasion been called a cretin! In politics when inner party squabbling turns into blatant abuse or when we see Tony, Julia et al, indulge in insults in and outside parliament it is called (in some quarters) 'vigorous debate'. Isn't it thus the Australian way? Perhaps on a...

Great to have Aaron back. In so many ways he was the man who either invented 'forward pressure' or simply personified it. He really thrashed his body on the field and his commitment was always 100%. I recall watching him at ground level and wincing at how hard he hit any 'body' that was between him ...

Perhaps one of the reasons Scotty W got the gig was that he believed that the Saints needed to be more bright, open and media savvy. He is doing a great job on that front and SainterK, you are on the money with trying to draw more sponsors. Let's keep getting this positive coverage and hope it trans...
