Instead of Caldwell (183cm), why not look at Hately (190cm)?
Caldwell's disposal efficiency is 62.3% vs Hately at 79.3% and the kicking efficiency is 53.6% vs 80.9%. Hately is a much bigger bodied midfielder that we could use.

Apparently his manager will use a new clause introduced by the AFL after this saga started which allows any Essendon player to break their contract terms with the club due to this drugs situation and move directly to the club of their choice and Essendon get NO compensation in any form.

I say Stay away from Essendon with those infraction notices hanging over their heads. Let's not forget the Lovett deal (where he came with supporting references from Hird and others). We need some experience to help our kids learn and I could not think of a better 2 than Lenny and Joey teaching them...
