I really think Maister should go and I'm not sold on Simpkin. As for TDL, maybe keep him one more year - it would be a complete waste of a trade to get rid of him.

I hope Dal stays but I'm not convinced - he doesn't seem to have quite the same passion for the club as Lenny and Roo.

I'll be at Geelong for the Saints match next week. Curious as to how many St Kilda fans will be there and where they're sitting.

Maybe this is just more melodramatic journalism? I think Fisher will probably play unless it turns out he has been badly injured - the Saints need to win this match otherwise they can kiss their finals chances goodbye.

The optimistic me likes to think that we will sneak into 7th or 8th place but I think the more realistic expectation would be that St Kilda finish 9th to 12th with 10-12 wins. I'm happy to be proven wrong though!

If St Kilda lose to the Gold Coast then I think we can pretty much discount them as a top eight chance, this game is a must win, even if some players are injured/underdone.

We as a club need to to keep earning respect, and keep winning, and that's one way to boost membership. I still think the club is not marketing itself as well as it could. Clubs with strong memberships like Richmond, Geelong, Hawks to name a few, seem to be out there a lot more in public pushing me...
