Re: And so it begins
honestly why do we want to play finals? Finals are a step up again & we cant threaten teams now -so where is sudden turn of ability come from ? EVERYONE bangs on about the draw but again when you are playing for the top eight - no team should be a danger side - isnt the idea you can beat them a...

Re: We Are The Emperor's New Clothes
At least the players breathe in some good air prior to the bounce.
IOr, i wonder if someone in the circle farts and then they all breathe it in, that might help them to play the Saints pooball that they are all so good at.

Re: Genius new game plan rule set
I think that second half should be a boiler plate of what needs to be addressed in our game plan. What needs to be changed/adjusted so that we would be competitive in that situation instead of ineffectual. Hard to watch it but if we dont address it we will get to watch it over and over again agains...

Are they fair dinkum when they, the press, say Hannebery could be available to run around and get hurt against Brisbane.
He must be trying to reach his trigger for next year.

Re: Hanneberry done
There are a number on here who obviously need psychiatric help IF you are an AFL footballer in the modern era you are committed to the Club and performance because that is your employment So that differs from some years back when you also had a job - and even had to miss games because of employment...

If it's a rebuild we need then they can take an eternity, The Saints have been rebuilding since our last Grand Final coach bolted across the Nullabor for more pay and to a list that was in good shape. If it's the coach, then it's 2 more years of it. Even if the coach is part of the issue, it's the ...

Re: Same old story - can't kick well enough
At the moment supporters want Rath gone, does anyone really know what he does at the club. It doesn't seem that long ago when supporters had the same fixation on getting rid of Danny Sexton, without really knowing what he contributes. And who is still at the club now, out on the ground at the 1/4 ti...

We are an absolute circus from top to bottom. With clowns running the show. How much more can St.Kilda supporters endure 1 flag in the history of the club. Watching last night could not help but notice one highly paid player with a smile on his face to me obviously not playing for the jumper and cl...

Let's see what the much lauded Gags and his band of merry men do this off season in regards to improving the playing stocks. Let's hope we have someone in list management/recruiting that can spot a quality player. Let's hope we don't opt for anymore Superannuants. Let's hope someone at Moorabbin can...

That job is taken, Dan will stay at the Saints and be in charge of player contracts, Brad will then get an extension.

We only have to watch the St Kilda Pooball Club for 2 more weeks and then we get nearly 6 months free from watching this incompetent organisation stink it up.

Re: Hanneberry done
Is it true the trigger for Hanners to get a contract for season 5 was to play 2 games in a row ?
If so, expect an announcement as soon as Simon takes over from Finnis.

They beat Melbourne, can we ?:Waltzing St Kilda wrote: ↑Sat 06 Aug 2022 12:12am The softest draw in the comp, rarely leave the MCG, fell over the line against a swathe of mediocre teams, won tonight thanks to some generous umpiring.
Still not convinced.
Once the bubble pops -- next week, against the Swans? -- it could all fall apart.

If ever there was a game gifted to a team it was tonight. Three holding the ball decisions resulting in Sh.tPie goals. Not the same paid down the other end. Therein lies the difference. One could be excused for thinking the UMPIRES have been given the nod.   Is that all you’ve go...

Pies win 11 games in a row with a fierce will to win, great teamwork and transition play etc etc.... ...Meh So, let's ask them the hard questions.
