Wonder if Mick proof read for factual consistency.
Embarrassing for Mick having his name attributed to such a poorly written and researched piece re: saints.
This has to be written by someone who spent two minutes scrolling Google.

Re: Max still wants the next kick.

Feel like we haven't played to his strengths. He is a real handful for and defender one on one in an open fwd line where he can use his pace and skills below his knees on the occasions he doesn't mark it. Slow ball movement means he is forced to wrestle 1 v 3+ and that's not his go atm

Re: Brad Hill - trade?

Seems Brad and family are unhappy with (some) Saints fans reaction to his contributions and is partial to a move because of that (source: Saints TV by way of unattributed rumours). If true then he and his management would need to find a club where he feels fully appreciated by their fans and not cr...

Re: AFL not investigating Zork

If reports are true about the Bastinac connection, then I doubt Petty wants to drag his sister through the mud. Probably a very poor sledge by today's standards, but doesn't warrant action. These days it's better to play footy and keep your mouth zipped. So it was a “Carslile” Murphy type sledge ab...

60,000 however comprised is a good number, yes. Good bench mark for new CEO. The Saints TV guys say Saints home game day experience is worst in the AFL. I agree it is poor. Hopefully keeping 60,000 entertained will cause the Club to lift their game in that regard. Two things re GameDay experience: ...

Re: Pyss off Lloyd ya flog

"he currently works with an elite, forward and a renowned biomechanical kicking expert." The question is, can either of these two kick as well as Matthew Lloyd? If the answer is no, and I suspect it is because Lloyd was a magnificent kick of the football, one of the best ever, then then R...

What I have noticed over the years is that the difference between the great players and the rest, I'd the ability to execute skills under extreme pressure i.e. finals or critical moments in games. Need to train short, high intensity sessions, to mimic extreme pressure, quick decision making, perform...

Re: Pyss off Lloyd ya flog

A few thoughts. Anyone that thinks what Ratts says in public is the same as behind closed doors is a little naive. First instinct to protect and support the player , And not add to the pressure by keeping it indoors is paramount. Saints would give access to the best, he currently works with an elite...

Re: He's Only 22

I, like every other Saints supporter was terribly disappointed in King's chronic waywardness on Friday night, and yes, if he'd kicked straight St Kilda would probably have won that game. But I think it's quite unfair to unload our frustrations out on the young fella, instead we should sympathise be...

Is he a midfielder? Don’t know much about him. Fill us in.

Prefer not to unless it’s unavoidable as I do think NWM is going to be very good. But perhaps Sinn is as well.

Re: Are we so used to failure…

I believe we have institutionalised mediocrity and that is reinforced by the current group of players, coaches and administration. I think why so many here are attached to the GT-era was because it was the first time in our history that we matched a desire to win with a belief that we could author ...

Great to see him do well in an important role. If Kelly gets off the chain, we would've been in trouble.
Before WC game, he was outside best 22, but just gets so much better with every game
