I don’t see how SFF can produce a detailed business plan without full access to the records, the accountants, and key operating personnel like RL, JB and Ross Smith. I would hope SFF does not get that access until they are appointed. Any detailed business plan produced before hand I would regard a...

My basic problem with RL is inflexibility. I think the best coaches experiment and early on identify and adopt a game plan which they believe best suits the list. RL has instead put his game plan first as the priority. In the trenches he is better than GT. But unfortunately I think RL places the tre...

My only concern is that Worsfold, Roos, Williams, Worsfold, Sheedy, Pagan & Blight (the last 7 premiership coaches) all took their respective teams to the finals in first full year of coaching them.

RL has achieved exactly the opposite.

It was public knowledge we were trying to get Blight. But it was also public knowledge that Blight was not certain even with Saints desperately chasing him. At the end of the day the players signed on first and whether Blight coached or not they were Saints players. Most players like to know who the...

No it is not utter rubbish. The players were signed sealed and delivered before Blight was. Even if Blight did not join us the players were still Saints.

And to all those lamenting about GT the one who "took us places rah rah rah...", why not reflect on Stan Alves for a change, and what he did for the club? At least Stan coached us to a GF. Stan also didn't put on a song and a dance after getting fired. Kenny, Stan and GT were all good coa...

GT was the HEAD coach......he set the flavour and direction...and was accountable for anything delegated. In other words he was not competent. Bizarre analysis. GT took over a team which had only won 6 games in the previous 2 years. Within 3 years he had us in the finals. Within 4 years IMO he prob...

So why was GT fantastic when you met him? Do tell. I approached him with some important stats that I'd compiled. I had pages of them. He asked me to sit down with him so we could go through them thoroughly. :D :D :D That’s very typical of GT’s Jekyll and Hyde persona. I have heard another poste...

I have said this many times. I have seen 7 games this year at Scorps and not once was Brooks first ruck. He was forward and rucked occasionly. Rix has been named in best 1 out of 5 VFL games.

In AFL Rix has not been named in best in any of his 17 games.

Brooks was named in best in 1 out of his last 3 AFL games  .
