Re: Hows the blocking working Tony74
At some point, actually getting the ball in the forward line and kicking it in between the big posts more often than you miss needs to give way to hoping you can hold it in our half and kick it at the sticks often enough to outscore the opposition. And ffs, get Geary to stay within 40 metres of goa...

Re: At what point do you cease supporting, and start resenti
By becoming a saints member, or even just attending games, you are helping build the club and help it have sustained financial success, but you're right I'll be at every home game cheering my loudest to try get the boys over the line, but I'm just childish like that Look, you're entitled to do what...

This is a site for st kinda supporters, so you should probably bugger off and 'unbiasedly observe ' another team if you aren't one. Real supporters stick fat, they can criticise, but if you think of jumping ship after all this, I wouldn't call you a supporter Children and teenage fan bois 'stick fa...

Re: Hows the blocking working Tony74
OK I Will say it simply. The big boys are Adelaide and Sydney. They are the teams that with average talent ( like a dozen or so teams- including us ) are just stronger both physically and mentally. Not Melbourne , they were just better than us on the day. Not GWS who have been gifted quality. No, w...

Re: Hows the blocking working Tony74
This is a bit silly... I like Richo as a coach, but this kind of bull dust has really taken the shine off him this year. Really makes you question where his head is at and as a club, where ours is at extending his contract whilst he's pulling crap like this But surely you don't begrudge Tony74 for ...

5. Longer - more than held the best ruck in the game 4. Carlisle - absolute rock in defence especially in the 3rd term 3. Roberton - should be a shoe in for All-Australian, but will be robbed 2. Dunstan worked hard and carried both his and Stevens load, but faded later in the game 1. Membery - only ...

Look we all knew coming in who we were lining up behind. So suck it up! I come on here to bitch and whine so I dont lose my mind but STOP supporting??? Are you out of your dang gone mind son!?!?! Well as I said, I haven't really been a 'supporter' as such for about a decade. I'm more of an observer...

Abysmal 1st half, ducked us for the rest of the game. Players need a good hard look at themselves and see they aren't ready for finals yet,b not even close
They need to do something next year or richo is sacked

Re: Saints by 10 goals
Melbourne will look like they will flog us with a dominant first quarter before on the final play of the quarter, Hayden Hint attempts to do a big run and tries to evade Longer and Longer tackles him. Siren goes and saints come out and dominate the rest of the game.

More Credit for Billy tonight, all be it from a couple of hacks in Gawn and Mumford, but hey, what would they know about Ruckwork????? Just a little bit of food for thought for all you ruck experts!!!!! Gawn is actually a "pretty" good Rickman for a 25 yr old He touched the ball 19 times ...

Re: Left field pickups in upcpming trade period
hardly agree that skunk, steele and bruce were developed elsewhere. skunk and steele were young and bruce wasn't a forward. Skunk- Swans Academy Steelo- Canberra boy, GWS trained, he spent 2-3 years there. Baroose- GWS defender and spent a few years there. My point is, we didn't draft them as 17 ye...

Re: Caught out down back.
I would like to see our forwards produce a greater effort to keep the ball in our 50 Pretty sure we had 25 or so inside 50 tackles up to 3/4 time, which the commentators said was the AFL all time record in the first 3 quarters. In Richo's message to members he mentioned 33 or something was the fina...

Re: Billy Cost Us The Game
This response is symptomatic of why St Kilda has won just the one premiership in its history, that by one point in 1966. The bounday throw in exposed a break down - firstly in that the opposition ruckman had an unimpeded contest on the ball. The wider ramification is the protection of and defence o...
