Personally (and I admit my bias here) but I think this press conference did the incumbents more harm than good. No substance once again. SFF might not have proven much yet either, but geez I'm sick of Butterss and his corporate double speak. What's your future plan? "Our performance is on publi...

When asked about a future plan, his response was 'our performance is on public record'. Avoiding the question of his future plan. Comments about 'looking forward' but then looks back with his 'public record' nonsense. Asked about sponsors, no answers. When asked about spending, quotes figures that p...

Another member of the Footy First ticket, former St Kilda captain Nathan Burke, said his group was unlikely to accept any compromise offers. He also denied Westaway's public commitment to a drug and alcohol policy, which reportedly infuriated Butterss , was a political tactic. Interesting. Why? Won...

Reckon Teague is worth a shot, either with our last National Draft pick, or our PSD pick. Extremely courageous player! As mentioned before, if he gets his head right could be an extremely useful player. One game in two years with Carlton says it all really. And why would we entertain Godfrey when w...

I don't have a problem with Mr Magic looking for holes in the SFF. If they are not up to scratch, we the members should know about it. At present, I lean to voting for SFF and doubt that will change as I have worn my detestment of RB on my sleeve over the last days, weeks and months. Since January 2...

UNLESS they had some other motivated reason for volunteeering....ie they might be another saints fans partner and do it because of supporting their partner Sorry but that's tosh. I know personally several people who work for the club in a voluntary capacity on match day who do not barrack for the S...

The club is staffed on match day by mostly volunteers. You think they are going to do any less of a job because they don't get paid and they didn't start out as a St Kilda supporter ? I don't care what they started out as (ie like my wife they may have started asa Dons fan asa child but then switch...

We don't question who our players, coaches and officials previously supported. Same for board members. It's important what skills they bring to the table. As long as they are acting for the club and not their own interest (I take that point), then I don't care who they barracked for originally. Just...

Re: Post you huge rumours here

What if the innuendo is true though? Which innuendo are you talking about SENsational? My innuendo about "rumours" about FFS members, or the innuendo about drunken or drug taking members of the current board as reported in the H-S this morning? I am not pro or anti-Butters, however I thin...

Re: Post you huge rumours here

In the great tradition of the FFS (Footy First Syndicate) could we have all "innuendo" and "rumour" about any of the candidates in the upcoming split of the STKFC. Please make sure that no names are used and that all rumours and innuendo is ended with " There has been innue...

Do Carlton have a deal with Optus anymore? The oval is called MC Labour Park (pathetic name). Can't remember what's on their jumpers. Dan Murphys?

I'm still not sure what 'retiring' a debt means though. Did we pay it back or is it a paper write-off like when we reduced debt through writeoff of the stands or the like. . Two completely different issues. One was a retirement of a liability in the capital amount of the debt of about 2.5 mill on t...

Not sure on constitution of us, but I believe other clubs have double figure boards, so perhaps it is okay to co-opt people. sRs, I think Andrew Thompson meets the business and footy requirements, given his business background. I agree that Burkey shouldn't be the face. It's now time for Westaway an...

My recollection is that Nathan Burke played game 300 in Canberra in a game where Malcolm Blight was coach. Blight was criticised for playing Barry Hall all day at full back.

If I am right, it certainly shoots down Saint Dippa's assertions.

Has sat in the coaches box as an assistance (GT allegedly saw his lean and hungry look, has sat through presentations getting ...
