Re: GF Match Thread
Well it wasn't all bad despite Richmond winning again. Dusty played one of the all time great games. Geelong lost. Dangerfield didn't get a premiership medallion. The little masturbater didn't get a farewell present. Duckhead didn't get to make a victory speech. And that surly prick Chris Scott will...

Re: Congratulatons Rhys Stanley
Stanley took a couple of good marks, but missed plenty of others and missed a number of targets.
I don't think he was particularly effective.
Wouldn't dream of swapping him for Marshall

Re: GF Match Thread
Martin saved the game for Richmond in the first half.
Then he won it for them in the second half.
Geelong would have won easily apart from Dusty.

There's another one.
Another winner.
But as usual it's not us.

Re: Jeremy Cameron
The AFL sold free agency on the basis that it will even up the comp as the top sides would not be able to afford them. Instead we see the Lynches and Camerons of the world finding their way to the top clubs. One wonders what deals are being done? Free Agency is about the player. The top draft picks...

Saddest day of the year
For 54 years now we have watched teams and their supporters celebrating achieving the pinnacle of our game.
But it's never us.
No fond Grand Final memories.
Just despair and wondering if we will ever ever EVER see the day.

Re: Is anyone actually going to take the time to watch next week?
I've been to every GF since 1970 including the 2 replays so it is disappointing to break my streak. But I can't recall a GF where I had less investment. I desperately want Richmond to lose. But I couldn't stand a Geelong win. So I will watch on TV sans mates thanks to F'wit Dan and just enjoy the um...

Re: Rhys Shaw
It's a tough industry.
Some seem to thrive, others find it tough.
I think Ratts has the perfect temperament for it.
It's hard to warm to anyone related to Tony and Ray Shaw, but hopefully Rhys recovers.
Perhaps his issues are related to the club falling apart this year?

Re: Gears open letter to the people of Noosa
Great words from Gears.
Hopefully we can make Noosa a regular part of our pre-season, or Bye weekend, or even play a pre-season game there each year to build on the base.
We should also offer a Noosa membership with admission to our Qld games.
