Re: Well done Roma
Not sure if it's been posted so I apologize if it already has but Rowan Marshall has apparently signed a 3 year deal with the Saints :D Why do you call him Roma? Joffa has answered the question as per post below . A bit of a lame nick name but I really don't care about the name just very happy he h...

Re: Who believes North and Carlton will sustain...
To win after the coach has been sacked happens I reckon 90% of the time . I think the mind set changes player feel a bit of liberation & play more instinctively than re-actively & it works in the short term but it won't last IMO wrong wrong WRONG Article from Fox Sports of May 31, just afte...

Re: Post bye predictions - Season 2019
I like your positiveness excel but I'm thinking 4 more may see us out. I do believe 2 or 3 kids will be given an extended run in the seniors and have us wondering why that didn't happen earlier. I also predict some players will play their best, most consistent footy for the year in August. Sorry ma...

Re: Saints watching Goldstein
To get back to the initial thread how is Goldy going to be part of a plan to make us a viable finals contender in the foreseeable future ? Sure he will be able to pass on valuable knowledge to the present playing group but we are 3 or 4 years away from being a realistic chance of contending for a f...

Re: What are we selling to free agents?
I think the Saints are entering a potentially very exciting era so many would or should want to be a part of it IMO. The club has to keep trying, the Saints will not get anywhere by being negative and giving up on this front. You just keep plugging away. This has been the forlorn catch cry of a lot...

Re: Post bye predictions - Season 2019
I think the second half is looking positive. 6 games win are a minimum expectation for the second half. If the team was at full strength AND LUCKY, even 9 games are possible (but improbable given the coach). I like your positive outlook & I wish I could see why you think we can win 6 or even 9 ...

Re: Richmond lose and make 4 changes
Please bring in Clark & White & even though I publicly stated that Armo would be a backward move after last weeks effort I've changed my outlook obviously our younger players are not ready to step up yet so why not let him have a crack might set an example we couldn't do any worse could we ?

If that's the sort of negative bulls*** that Sammy's reports attracts, doubt I will post any more of them. Waste of my time. All due respect mate & I have no issue of what you post but Sammy is just towing the party line of course he is saying what people want to hear but IMO its just a PR stunt

Re: Can't blame the draw
I'm optimistic about our chances of beating the Blues at the MCG, but otherwise I think we will start as underdogs in every game we play for the rest of the season. That gives us six wins for the year, the same as 2015, so Richo will be on track to repeat his coaching record over his first four yea...

Marshall.8
Gresham.3
Steele.1
Battle. 1
Membrey.1
Dunstan.1
A very disappointing team effort.I found it hard to find blokes to give votes to apart from Marshall the rest were pretty much token votes to make up the numbers![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: Cautiously optimistic (2)
I posted on this forum earlier in this season, with the "subject" being: "Cautiously Optimistic" :D After ten rounds, and almost 1/2 way through this (injury-riddled) season, I feel no reason to change my view. I base this on a comparison with last season (from Hell) 2018: Playe...

Re: Midfielder available
Bryce Gibbs. Yep, he is 30 but is massively on the outer at the Crows. If we wanted a midfielder that can get the footy and kick well into the forward half then he can do that. Shame he is 30 and I can't see him wanting to play in the SANFL the rest of his career. It's a no from me Ted we need youn...
