Re: Match Thread Saints v Tigers Round 4 2020
It's time for Ratten to 'mention' the chopping of the arms of iur forwards in a press conference.
Needs to put the spotlight on it so it's gets noticed.

Re: Nicky Winmar suing Sam Newman and co-hosts for attempt to revise historical moment
I was going on what was said and reported immediately after the game. If he had only pointed to the jumper, it would have been a statement of doing it for the club. Lifting the jumper and pointing to his solar plexus, suggests guts. Guts in the face of despicable racist fuelled vitriol. I'm glad it...

Re: Nicky Winmar suing Sam Newman and co-hosts for attempt to revise historical moment
That said, I believe Nicky's gesture at the time was about the guts shown in front of a ridiculously hostile crowd. Highly likely brought on by a racist crowd but I believe he did reference guts, not colour in the aftermath. WTF? If that was the case, why the Court action. Don’t try to white wash i...

Re: Nicky Winmar suing Sam Newman and co-hosts for attempt to revise historical moment
“They embraced and brought their heads together, and Nicky was repeatedly saying in that euphoric moment of celebration, ‘I’m black and I’m proud to be black, I’m black and proud to be black, I’m black and proud to be black’, to Gilbert as they embraced. So I don’t know if I can be any more specific...

Re: Nicky Winmar suing Sam Newman and co-hosts for attempt to revise historical moment
On a side note, FWIW, the worst racial abuse I've ever witnessed was at from North supporters at Moorabbin about 30 years ago - and even worse yet at the 05 Prelim from Swans supporters.
I actually reckon I've only been to about 4 or 5 games of footy since that night. Awful. Grotesque.

Re: Nicky Winmar suing Sam Newman and co-hosts for attempt to revise historical moment
What law has been broken ??? Firstly, you need to read beyond the headline. No one has sued anyone. The reason for Winmar and Ludbey engaging lawyers, appears to be that they feel they're being accused of lying, and deceptive conduct. To state, or even suggest that Winmar is 'dining off it' and has...

Re: Team v Tigers
Tigers and Skunks drew a game..so on that alone we are in trouble... Ratten needs to show how he can adapt . He was outcoached last week Disagree. He needs to continue to teach the players the way he wants them to play. It'll mean short term pain, but it's the only way they're going to gel s. Team....

Fox News does propaganda and ideology but Netflix and ABC News don't. Interesting theory. That's not my theory. PS: Did the Netflix doco talk about how the US State Department and Dulles backed the Nazis right up to the beginning of the war because they thought Fascism would be a useful bulwark aga...
