Ba ha ha ha hah

Drop C Gardiner for Ferguson.

Ferguson is a dud and has done nothing in 4-5 years. new coach and still can't crack a game. Kicked 7 goals in one game, big deal.

I would take C Gardiner any day.

Who did L Fisher play on?

I know Blake was on Cloke and Cloke was quiet, but was that due to Blake's good work or just how the game played out?

Re: Do our players study their opposition before games?

Or am i reading into this too much... Last night i saw Alan Didak gather a loose ball on the paint of the collingwood 50 (i think in the third quater) and when he gathered he was on his right side being his opposite. Enter S.Dempster who decides to stay 3-4 metres from Didak and tried to stay wide ...

Probably indicative of the difference between to the two sides.
Birss kicked two goals and Heath Shaw did F*** all.

i would be happy with that effort coming into the game.

Re: St Kilda Vs Filth Match Thread

Doesn't seem to be any late changes for both sides (judging from live AFL scores website:

http://livescores.afl.com.au/livestats-10220801.html

We need the G to kick 4-5 and both King and Gardiner to push forward and kick a few.

Should be a good game.

We have not won a BIG GAME in years. When was the last time we were several games above .500 ? we are always 2-0, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 3-3etc. If we get the win tonight, it will be huge for the club. For us to win we need the big G to kick 5 and ALL of our midfielders to dominate. So far this year they al...

The article is spot on.

For him to not finish higher than 9th in a best and fairest (Roo has won some 4 B&Fs?) is under-performance.

Lets hope he steps it up a notch in the next 4-6 weeks.

He was looking really good at training this year, before the injury. I would have him anyday ahead of Rix, who will not stay on the list whatever happens. To those of you wanting Rix delisted and Van Rheenan listed - you guys need to get a grip. While I am not a massive fan of Rix, he is a solid ba...

We have medical staff who plan, assess and test for injuries throughout the recovery period.

It was just bad luck.

Would love for Gilbo to take over Goddard's role and he can play on the wing.

One of best kicks in the AFL, would love to see him kicking goals off the wing and hitting 50 metre stab passes to our forwards.

Is the top 5 utilities in the AFL. Can literally play every position bar ruck.

Best small forward Milne? NO

Best crumber? Maybe, out of him, Betts... the days of the permanent crumber are over.

Contrary to what Barks reckons, most, if not all 'crumbers' these day play up to half forward and sometimes on the ball, like Campbell/Thomas from Kangas, Rioli from Hawks etc.

Both Lyon and the leaders of the club have come out and said that the game plan gives players a license to be attacking, but players are ignoring the game plan.

Not the coaches fault. full stop. If players don't want to follow the game plan, then we will continue to be mediocre at best.

I disagree that our 'slump' has much to do with confidence. Confidence does not start with coaches. Its about having belief in your team and its talents, that you have what it takes to win. The days of a coach giving the players a rev up to get them to give that extra 10% are over. I am sure the coa...

Blake is a great servant of our club, and is probably a great bloke for all I know - but this doesn't count for sh!t on the field. He is slow. His disposal is poor. He is not a ruckman. He is not a key Forward or back. He is a utility and a tagger. However our team can't afford to carry similar play...
