Re: Changes v Crows (Membrey & Ross possible outs)
Keen to see Connolly play. Gotta take the positives where we can get them. Hopefully we can find a way.

Re: Changes for this week
Looks like English will miss for them again. I think we really need to exploit their lack of ruck options with Martin out as well. So I'd be against Battle playing as a second ruckman. It pains me to say it but either McKernan or Hunter should come in for Row. Geary in for Lonie and get Gears to loc...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Suns Round 8 2021
Still feel that whilst Hunter Clark is seen as calm and composed with the ball, hes often way too slow when hes chasing the defender. Im not sure if its that he simply doesnt have the tank for it, or is not a fast runner, or just doesnt try? But his lack of speed is noticeable when he doesn't have ...

Total over emphasis on running forward of the ball. Only person willing to run both ways is our skipper.

Long will be a regular in our side. despite the thoughts of some ....individuals on here. put your hands up...individuals. I’m something of a supporter of Long and thought he was sensational tonight. Re: How bad is Carlisle travelling??
Thought Highmore was reasonable in atrocious conditions. Definitely something to work with... The Carlisle situation worries me a fair bit. He was one of our best in that win against the dogs in the elimination final. Then Lynch and Riewoldt torched us the following week when Carlisle didn't play. W...

Re: Marshall injury
Marshall’s injury means Battle must now play as a key forward for a good month or so. It might work out well. I reckon we're going to see a breakout year from Josh. He needs to be played forward all year. Reckon he may win a game or two of his own boot this year. Very Bullish. Agreed. His 3rd q aga...

Sadly, the Corona thing will not help his cause.or any fringe player’s. But if it is deemed irresponsible to pick him up, despite the enormous moral-boosting , virtuosity of the gesture in helping an unlucky lad get back on his horse, despite all he odds...Jason McCartney style (kind of) ...., what...

Re: Jack Higgins deal done. No really .. like, really done!
So why didn't he make the Richmond GF side? Because Shai Bolton returned forward when Prestia came back Because Daniel’s surname is Rioli And because Castagna has photos of Hardwick with a donkey Dan Butler wasn't getting many games for Richmond, either. And I'm pretty sure that turned out all right.

This is a great get. Our ability to get deals done is fast becoming the best in the comp. No nonsense. No posturing. We just get it done.
Clubs hasn't been run this well in a long, long time. We should all be up and about.

I read somewhere that he doesn't have a contract passed next season. So that would suggest it's touch and go for him. Although I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to contracts and such.

Re: Seb Ross
I think to be honest... I reckon Ross’ value most likely exceeds what he will attract on the open market. He played a lot better in the second half of the season post retiring from injury. I think I’m happy for him to play with a higher degree of pressure to retain his spot. My personal opinion is ...

Re: Treloar bombshell
The whole "hard to coach" thing with Treloar is such an indictment on Buckley and Collingwood's coaching staff. That's on them, not the player. Good coaching works towards a player's strength. It doesn't cut the player when things get hard, especially when you've invested so much time and ...

Re: This is how the Crouch deal will go down.......
Nah. They match the offer and we walk. I think there is a lot of goodwill here, on both sides. Crouch doesn't want to dud his old club. St Kilda don't want to pay the amount that will trigger a pick 2. The compromise, I think, and on radio this morning the Adelaide list manager said as much, is a p...

Re: This is how the Crouch deal will go down.......
Adelaide will match our offer forcing a trade. Adelaide trade Crouch and pick 20 and pick 50 to St Kilda St Kilda trade pick 15 and pick 58 and Dunstan to Adelaide Source - My friends wife works for one of Adelaide's masseurs. The deal is heavily in our favour still so in effect we still get Crouch...

Power making an offer for Alir Alir due to shortage of quality key defenders this season. Makes trading Howard even more perplexing. Did it cost them a shot at a premiership this season? https://www.zerohanger.com/afl-trade-news-rival-club-approach-sydney-defender-afl-aliir-66923/ One of the weirde...

History says that multi year million dollar contracts for unproven young talent never really ends well. Be interesting to see if Jye can handle the pressure. Lot of focus on him now, much like Tom Boyd.
