Seems like a nice piece of business from the Dees.

What a player Jack's become for us. Runs so hard, tackles ferociously, and he's starting to use the ball like a silky veteran. With him leading our midfield the future is very bright.

In The Pelican we trust! A gun with pick 3, perhaps some wheeling and dealing at the trade table and sensible acquisitions (no more small forwards) and we should improve on this season. 5-8 wins.

Gram's basketball background didn't help him out too much in this department. He played some tough, hard games though, like the 09 GF. Really should have won the Norm Smith medal.

Hickey looks the goods, he's tracking along very nicely. Top work from the Pelican.

Really liked his game. Makes much more appeal than players like Dennis-Lane and Milera.

Gwilt will be much better when we get a quality big key defender, setting up play from deep in the back line. Fisher too can return to being a running back where he has previously been excellent. The priority must be to find a key defender via free agency with all the cap room we now have.

I'm more than happy with Armo ahead of Jackoff. James Frawley would be handy in our current situation though.

Not taking Jack Riewoldt was one of the better decisions the club has made at the draft table. Incredibly overrated footballer. Constantly staging for free kicks, moaning at the umpires or his teammates, flying for speccies. Many deluded Richmond flogs think they have the better Riewoldt, too.

Watters' persistence with Stanley as a defender is some of the poorest coaching I've ever seen. Letting Mackie roam loose in our 50 has worked a treat too. Skill errors have been awful but Watters needs to at least set the team up properly.

Jack Steven is now elite. McEvoy was excellent and is now a consistenly good performer.

Saunders, Newnes, Webster, Hickey, Lee and Curren all look to have promising futures.

Bitterly disappointed with the showing from Stanley and Dennis-Lane.

TDL is straight up useless. Stanley has ability but has no confidence and is far too timid. I don't mind that Hickey is playing, you need to get games into the young rucks.

Milera, TDL, Dal, Stanley were all soft as butter.

Tom Lee, Milney's highlights and Lenny Hayes' hardness and leadership are the only positives for tonight. Dennis-Lane and Milera are not AFL standard.
