I was never a GT fan and glad when RL was hired as he was a long time assistant under some flag winning coaches. RL is losing me fast. The games we won over the past 6 weeks all had similiar theme. North, Hawthorn, Port, Carlton, start out slow, repeat the chip-mark-eyes up-wait-chip for the first q...

Big Picture - Move away from Telstra Dome

Once again out in the cold and wet and what do we get? Missing targets, losing footing, poor handling, .... terrible footy. . We cannot perform without a roof over the playing arena. Finals are rarely played there, the flint hard surface induces injuries and we never play well under natural conditio...

Harvey's last Home home and away game against Adelaide.

Do we need to move the game from TD to the G.

Don't think a 54,000 capacity ground will be big enough!

Was too skinny last year and shat himself a couple of times (IMO) last year against Port at AAMIE.

2008, has been a revelation. Watch closely the replays and you'll see the 1%ers and fearless body-on-the-line attack on the footy.

Can any name a more worthy recipient of 'Most Improved'.

Sat centre/wing Docklands side and saw this happen three times on the wing. Not sure how many other times, eyesight fading. What's the call, 50 or no 50? Saints player 1 receives a free. As the free is paid the ball ends up in the hands on Saints player 2. Port player tackles, takes to ground and co...

Mike Sheehan and Plugger66. Sheehan’s top 50 deliberately controversial to further enhance his reputation as Melbourne’s top footy journo. All his columns are knee-jerk reactions and ‘voice-of-the-people’ rants. Useless. Plugger66. AFL apologist and probably non-Sainter stooge. Why do we eve...

Technically a free.

However, umpires need to stop paying frees, like the Roo example, where the player getting tackled rolls into the tackler's arm causing a high tackle.

Umps need to wake up to the tactic.

Is it only me that thinks the club are soft when it comes to challenging these decisions? One match (1 + loading - early plea) is a bit excessive for an action that occurs every week. The catagorisation of the contact as 'Reckless' should be questioned as it was partly due to {enter a qualified bio-...

Player Managers! Nixon, Kelly et al are the leeches on modern day football. They take 10-15-20% and provide nothing to the game. The million or so taken out of each club's salary cap should be spend in more productive means rather than expensive Italian curling wands to keep Ricky's hair in tight sp...

What really S4its me is opposition supporters yelling ' Don't touch Riewolt, he protected ....".

If there was ever a player deserving 10 frees a game it's #12. Gets interfered with 9 contests out of 10.

Saints day at the G

What do people think of this idea. Each year one home game is scheduled at the G, branded to remember past champions, past players, fallen serviceman and club history ... . If supporters can only go to one/two games a year, then making this an annual must 'go to' event will be great to allow players...

When Eade took over the Dogs they were rubbish for a few years while he re-shaped the list.

When Clarkson took over the Hawks they were rubbish for a few years while he discarded the talentless.

Kosi, IMO, is not suited inside the F50 the way we play. Where he has dominated is when Rucking/running free around the ground. No opposition ruck has the same motor. With the way the ball has been entering, Roo never stands a chance. By the time the ball gets near the drop zone he's been held, drag...
