Clearly in our best. Easily. Obviously Reincarnated wasn't at the game today... Yes he butchered afew but also looked to play more team-oriented. Could have ahd a few shots when he chose to look for an option. And Reincarnated needs to stop thinking Reincarnated is Strauchanie or Duff Man. Oo-yeah....

it might be rough justice but:

a) it was not necessary; and
b) if it had been our player on the receiving end we would have been damanding the same sort of sentence.

Live with it, learn from it and move on.

well i pay good money for my family's reserved seating and i am wrapped. they have already short changed reserved seating members by selling the melbourne game to the gold coast and if they had moved this one, i would have been really annoyed. They will get a full house, people that don't and can't ...

gwilt is one of our most frustrating players. at times, shows so much promise, but too often fails to deliver. he is SO slow in his decision making, and at times doesnt look like he is putting in with the chasing and tackling. and people are right, he is not on his own from today's effort. but i gen...

i watched the Sandy game and came away with the following thoughts: 1) Goose is still approx. 4 - 6 weeks away from AFL fitness and game speed (note this is not a reason not to play him just keep your expectations low) 2) X is the new Dal ie. not working hard enough and just coasting. if we want ano...

am i the only one having a hard time coming to grips with the fact no.35 won't be running out for the club anymore? it justs seems that tonights game has brought it home a whole lot more than i had realised. and i hate that people accuse our club culture of celebrating individuals over the team, but...

I don't know MN one bit but have the following observations: - MN certainly looks like he has a great commercial and football pedigree; - Westaway came to 'power' on the back of making RB look 2nd rate in terms of processes; - We now have a CEO appointed by a Board of which he was sitting on and is ...

and thank f@rk for that. seriously, its a great read. sadly, it smacks of a man who ikes to be seen as "kingdaddy" of the kids and who absolutely needs to remind everyone that he STILL has close ties with a superstar AFL footballer in Riewoldt (and is therefore relevant and worth listenin...

Far be it for me to cast dispersions on Stewie and Harves, but ex AFL footballers playing in the ammos just reeks of getting free education for their children. It's a blight on the ammos, but I'm not sure what can be done about it. The cost for a yr 12 student at Hailebury in 2008 would be in the v...

don't know and not aware of goose's response.

i could presume a 2nd round pick would be any trade asking price given he is still contracted.

Carlton pursuing Maguire

I can tell you that my mail has Carlton making "enquiries" about goose at player and managment level.

What I can't tell you is what our club's response has been.

We were missing 7 of our best 22 - but still made the Prelim

all right i've seen a lot on the boards about trade, list management, not good enough etc. but lets look at this in the cold light of day (and it is cold out there at the moment). The guys missing from the game Saturday night were: Defence Matt Maguire (centre half back) Xavier Clarke (back flank/wi...

Re: Wakelin's Tribute

Had it not been for him the gaggle of defeated Pies would have slunk away. Even so not all of them fronted up for it. It was an amazing gesture and completely unnecessary. The ability to farewell one of the games all time champions after their season was ended like that is an unbelievablely awesome...

FFS.. X comes back from how long out of the game, in finals pressure, against the best team in the comp. Was everyone expecting him to win the game of his own boot? IMO shouldn't have played at all. When fit and in form X definatly in our best 22, but too little too late. We should have stuck with ...
